CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

NARRATOR

While Sarah was stuck in her coma and refusing to leave baby Cameron, Rachel and Cam kept pushing the case and made sure that the Jameson family was arraigned for all their crimes. Rachel kept getting threats of exposure for all the sex tapes that Bradley forced her to make but she was not going to back down. Today was the final day of hearing and even in Sarah's absence they were determined to wipe this family off the face of the Earth.
"My Lord a pornstar turned lawyer cannot tell this whole court that the only evidence they can present to this law court is a silly voice record which the so called victim is not even here to defend", the Jamesons lawyer walked around the court with so much pride, oblivious to the fact that he will soon be humbled. The judge glanced at them with a little tilt to his head, having known the Jameson family for a while and their ruthless ways he would enjoy putting them at his Mercy but he would need some evidence. Rachel sat so relaxed, knowing that she has just enough to knock them off their high horse.
"Allow me to present my first witness today", Rachel stood up and took long, confident strides around the room and the doors opened to reveal Doctor Rose who got into the dock and swore the usual things.
"Please tell this court how you know Miss Sarah Jameson", Rachel stood below the dock and smirked at Bradley who glared daggers at the old woman.
"Sarah Jameson has been my patient for seven years now", Doctor rose met Bradley's glare and wished that she could kill him right there without being charged with court contempt.
"And what was wrong with her?"
"It is not what was wrong to her, it is what was done to her. When she was brought to my office by a good friend, she was so distant, almost a living corpse. She had PTSD, anxiety and I later discovered she had personality disorder, the child was grieving so much that she lost herself"
"And what caused these issues? Surely there must be a cause for a young girl of eighteen from your statement to have such issues", Rachel quipped.
"She panicked when she came close to a person of the male specie and when she opened up, she narrated how her parents and brother raped her, got her pregnant and raped her two year old child to death. They starved her, battered her and made sex tapes of her and her father and brother. She was mutilated and almost killed before she escaped with her dead child", the woman shivered as she recalled a broken child who recounted her painful experiences to her.
"All the years you knew her,  you must have had a more personal relationship with her other than professional right?", Rachel asked and she nodded.
"And her family never searched for her or made any attempts at reaching out to her?"
"None that I know of"
"I have no more question for the witness my Lord", Rachel took her place on her seat and the judge gave the defending council the opportunity to question the witness.
"Dr. Rose since you knew this girl very well I am sure that you can tell his honorable court where she resided", the arrogant defender stared her down but the woman held her head high.
"She lived with my friend who along with her husband is the caretaker of the cemetery where she buried her child until she could no longer stay in the same place her child was buried. Having no one to take her in or anywhere to go to, I took her in"
"So you accommodated a delinquent who ran away from home to be able to freely live her promiscuous life?", The defender attempted to intimidate her.
"From the look of things you have no tangible question to ask me, you know the truth and the you chose to ignore it because they pay you to do so. Get your greed out of the way and put yourself in her shoes. That young child was molested from the young age of twelve by the very people that she trusted so much, her rape tapes were sent to pedophiles by her own mother and either her father or brother got her pregnant and the same child was raped by her father. That is an evil thing to do to anybody let alone your child so before you attempt to defend those demons, think twice", the doctor snapped at him making him hang his head in shame and the whole court go quiet. He ran back to his seat with his figurative tail between his legs and that way Rachel kept hitting them with more witnesses and evidences. Evidences that proved that the young Cameron was indeed Bradley's child and that the baby died a painful death, fueling the judge's desire to sweep that family off the face of the earth. Giving Gary and Bradley Jameson death sentences and Elaine Jameson a life sentence was not enough to satisfy the judge and Rachel but anything more than that was going against the law.
Rachel walked out of the court room a free person, at least physically and the Jameson's were to be sent away forever.
