CH 6: Beautiful Demon

There was a mere silence between them, stealing glances at each other. Ashwin was terribly controlling himself from not doing anything to her. Ashwin was the first to break the silence.“I need to shower,” he said without looking into her eyes.

“Didn't you shower just an hour before? Are you ok?” she asked him in concern. “Arr…yes… That was a hot one… I need to get a cold shower now,” he managed to complete his sentence without shuttering. “What's the difference?” she frowned at him. Without giving any answer, he just smiled at her innocence and went out to get a cold shower.

Sivaangi was perplexed. She was extremely curious about the differences. She quickly took her phone, opened google and typed ‘Why do guys take a cold shower?’.

After a long time, Ashwin entered the room. He looked at her face, which turns to crimson red after meeting his eyes. He furrowed his eyebrows at her. “What happened?” he asked cluelessly. “Erm… I just found the reason you went to have a cold shower,” she said innocently. “Oh ok… wait what?” Ashwin was shocked. “You heard me right. I checked it on Google. Don't panic. I think it's a normal thing for boys if they are beside the girl they love. So, I won't take it wrong. Let's go for lunch,” she dragged him out of their room.

The whole time, Ashwin was stunned by her statement. After completing their lunch, Ashwin brought her to the terrace.

“How did you become a psychiatrist?” Ashwin asked her. “My brother told me that 3 years ago, I was a secretary for a company boss, and my brother was the COO of the company. Then, you know, I met with an accident which made me forget my 5 years of memories. He said that the company doesn't want me. So, I decided to choose a psychiatrist course. It's really an interesting job. That's how my life was going; sometimes with flashes of my past. My brother requested me to get married to Arjun. I never loved him. I preferred not to cancel the marriage and embarrassed my brother for my happiness. But God had another plan. Boom!! God sent you as Mr. Kidnapper to save my life. I don't know what stopped me from informing my brother that I was kidnapped and where I am, even though I have the phone with me. Maybe it's because of you, being caring towards me. I don't know, Ashwin.” she chuckled with tears streaming down her cheeks.

Ashwin walked to her, held her cheeks and wiped her tears, “I will never leave you Sivaangi Maa, I promise.” he pressed his lips on her forehead. Sivaangi nodded and smiled widely at him. To change the mood, Ashwin made up his mind to tease her.

He moved a little back, checked her out. “Do you think you are on vacation? I kidnapped you, baby!!! I can do anything to you which you don't wish for, if you dress like this. Better be careful.” he said using his husky voice, smirking at her. He knew that it will affect her. Sivaangi knew that he was playing with her. But, still, she acted like she was scared of him and ran away from there.
