Seven months... That means I have seven months to plan and spend time with my little family before maybe dying in a war to save my daughter. Then there is a chance of living but losing my mate. A lot of wolves are going to lose their lives. Innocent ones, guilty ones, the in between. All because of me. They are going to throw themselves in front of me to save me since I am their Luna. If I were anyone else they would just let me go an avoid war. If I can't save them all the least I can do is give them the option and protect the ones I can to the best of my abilities.

We have to start a pack meeting. But for now... I need to wake up Josh. I giggle silently as I make a bubble of air to carry us to a nearby lake. I set myself in a tree to watch then drop him into the lake with a big splash. He soon comes up coughing.

"JOSIE I KNOW THAT WAS YOU!" I fall out of the tree as I laugh. Luckily Josh, who is over protective, catches me. "I have a feeling that if I don't wake up first there will be not be a time I wake up peacefully." I smile. "You're feeling would be correct."

"Baby shopping!" I say excitedly and run to the car. Josh follows closely behind me. We spend the next several hours picking stuff out. As soon as we get home I start to set up the baby's room. When I finish I look at the final product. It's beautiful.

"Josh! Come look! I finished the room!" He shouts something back that I can't hear. What? I say through our link. Alpha Matthew is here. The previous Alpha has stepped down. He came to make a treaty. He says. I'm coming, I can help. You have to be able to see through his tricks.

I don't give him room to argue and just walk in the room. "Oh great, runt little sister." He rolls his eye. "Oh great immature big brother." He growls. "Don't test me." I raise a brow. "You seem to forget you are alone... On my territory... In one of the strongest packs in the world. If I were you I would switch that statement around." He smirks. Your territory? You forget Luna's mean as much as an Omega to a strong Alpha."

"Actually we are in the top five strongest packs and everyone here is like family. Even the Omega's. We don't let ranks put us over someone else's needs. If anything they come first. It's how a good pack should work. Maybe if you learned that you would have the appropriate trust from your pack to win a battle instead of watching your pack die!" I snap. It is one thing to disrespect me, but to disrespect my entire pack? You might as well dog your own grave.

"Now, we have a treaty to get to." I say and sit on the desk. "Why not sit in a chair?" A man asks from across the room. I didn't even notice him there. "I am short. If I sit here I don't have to crane my neck to see these two rediculously tall males." He laughs. "Well, miss Josie, that is pretty smart." I smile. "Can we get on with it?" Matthew asks impatiently.

"Josie look over these papers for me." Josh says. In every sentence there is a hidden meaning. I circle them all and hand it back. Josh sighs as he looks at them. "How did I miss this? I can't agree to this Matthew. It is completely unfair." Matthew then begins to go on and on about how it is completely fair. If you want him to shut up I know a girl who can help... I say. Please do.

Hey, Ruyi, you busy? I ask. Not at all. What do you need? She responds quickly. There is an Alpha Matthew and he could use a shutting up... Minutes later she walks into the room. "What now?" Matthew snaps without turning around. "Is that any way to greet an old friend?" I watch as he instantly pales. Did I mention she is the only person he fears?

"Ruyi? Uh I- um- hi?" I nearly laugh. "Better. Now, I hear you're disrespecting my Luna. I don't think that is right. After all, this is our territory. So I will say one thing. Leave, or deal with me?"
