"I have two mates..." I look at Ami surprised. "Who is the second one?" Josh asks. "Dean." she says. He nods. "Go talk to them darling. Trust your heart." I say with a smile. She nods and hugs me. "Thanks mom." I nod and she walks out. "Josh, I've missed you." He looks down at me with a raised brow. "Since we had the other four we haven't had much time together. That's been about nine years now..." He nods. "It's been one wild ride." I smile and snuggle into his side. "I wouldn't trade this for anything. I love you Joshie." He kisses me gently. "I love you too." Suddenly a sharp fire like pain hits my abdomen. I whimper and clutch my stomach.
"What- Your heat." Josh mumbles. I cry out when a fever so bad it feels like I'm on fire hits. Josh picks me up gently and it soothes some of the pain. He fixes a cold bath and sits in it with me. "Josh.... I need you." I mumble. "That's just your heat talking, baby. You don't really want to risk it and getting you pregnant." He soothes. "Please! Josh!" I whimper. He sighs, and nuzzles his head into my neck. I let out a soft purr when his lips graze his mark.
*Skipping the rest of the night, cuz I don't write smut*
I wake the next morning with a yawn. My heat is over... they never end so soon unless... "Josh!" I say and get dressed quickly in panic. "What?" he asks sleepily. "My heat is over!" I whimper. He shoots out of bed and as soon as he is dressed we head to the pack doctor. "Hello, Alpha and Luna, I am Lucy the new head doctor. What seems to be the issue?" A tall blond asks. "My heat started yesterday and it was over by this morning." She goes a bit pale. "I-I need some blood tests!" She takes what she needs and leaves for about twenty minutes before coming back with a sad look on her face. "You have a brain tumor. There is only a small chance of survival, but if we start treatment now we might have a bit more of a chance."

"Please sister? I need your help, now more than ever." I stop when my phone rings. "Yeah?" I ask. I hear Ami in tears on the other end. "Mom has a brain tumor, there isn't a huge chance of survival." She says. "I'm on my way." I say before hanging up. "I will do anything. I need help to win and now my Luna has a brain tumor." She looks up. "One condition." I nod. "If I find my mate there, I want to stay. I can help with the tumor as well." I nod before grabbing Aislinn and we walk out the door. I'm coming Luna, hang in there. I will be back in a week.
