Sorry for the late update... I've had a long week. I'm trying tho. I'll stop blabbering and get back to get back to the book. ___________________________________

Really? More chaos? Is it literally impossible for me to live the rest of my life with my pups safely? I left the twins and Audrey at home! Oh no no no! What if they attack while I'm gone? If Cammie plans to kill me despite everything, doesn't that mean she isn't above slaughtering my kids too? Also how did Ami have a command over me? She's my daughter! Not the point. I need to get back to my pups. If Im there I can take on Cammie myself.

Even though she is only fourteen, I know better than to underestimate her. I will need help from Ruyi and Em for this to work. I might even need Ami if she is in control by the time Cammie shows up. She was only five when we met, but already she was planning to kill me. "Ami, I hate to end this visit so soon, but I need to get home. Your siblings need me. This way you can be prepared sooner in case you are needed for the upcoming war. You are even stronger than me so you will stand a better chance. Even so, you will only be set loose in worse case scenario." I ramble faster than most can listen.

Despite all the years, and patience, I still ramble when I am nervous. "Josh! We have to go. Audrey, Avery, and Ridian need us to protect them." I shout. Josh looks at me with a raised eyebrow. "You do realize that with our hearing, and me being right beside you, you don't need to yell. Right?" I look down. "Sorry Josh. Love you!"

He just laughs. "Love you too. Now let's get to the kids, yeah?" I nod and we start the long drive back. It probably isn't as long as it seems, but when in over protective mom mode, it seems like centuries before we arrive. As soon as we pull in the drive way I jump out. I don't even bother to wait for the car to stop. I can run to my babies faster than the car will make it to the steps.

I run upstairs and see the pups sleeping. Aislinn and Ruyi are there as well. Ruyi sleeps near Aislinn and unconsciously has herself positioned in a protective way. The floor makes a little creak and she is immediately up searching for what made the noise when her eyes land on me. "Welcome back dear Josephine." She says with a small grin. I don't bother to correct her.

"Ok, what's up?" She asks when she realizes something is up. "Cammie. She wants me dead. She was sent when you failed to kill me. She plans on killing me and anyone else in her way. I need you and Em to help me. I need to be certain I can take her down. We also need a witch. Someone who can give us a spell to protect us from Cammie's way of getting into our brains and knocking us unconscious." She nods. "I'll help. I am start by finding our witch. I'm going to take Aislinn. Em and you need to work on perfecting your tricks. Cammie has been gone for four years and knowing her she has been practicing as much as possible."

"I will talk to Em. I need you to leave as soon as possible. She could attack at any time and she has rogues on her side. If all goes wrong I will have Ami help as well." Ruyi finally smiles. "How is the girl? Last I heard she was screaming in pain." I know Ruyi isn't a fan of vampires, but she needs to know. "She's a hybrid. We figured out her father is Damion, king of vampires. When she got her powers her eyes changed. She is staying with them learning to control the blood lust." Ruyi gives a small growl.

"Josie, I'm not going to lie, I don't like vampires. Even so Ami is the same girl. I do believe in there being some good if they are willing to try hard enough. With her being your daughter I know she will be different. That kid is just like you." I smile. She usually isn't good at sharing how she feels or complimenting anyone unless it is Aislinn. "Rue?" The girl says. "Yes?" Ruyi immediately turns towards her. I walk out quietly and go to speak with Em.

"Em!" I call when I get to her door. I hear a bunch of movement and some cussing before she opens the door not looking even a little composed. Leo soon comes out as well with just a pair of jeans on, that he didn't even bother to button might I add. "Am I interrupting something?" I ask knowing perfectly well that I am. Em blushes and looks anywhere but my face as Leo grumbles something incoherent. "What was that mind reader?" He looks at me amused while shaking his head.

"Anyway..... Em we have a situation." I then start to explain the same thing I've already explained twice. I really need to get everyone who needs to know these things together and then explain. It would really save my breath. When I'm done she looks completely shocked. "Cammie?" She whispers with tears in her eyes. Leo looks at her before wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Do you have any food?" I blink a few times. "Why?" She just shrugs. "I'm hungry." I smile and grab a snack bar from my hoodie pocket. "Why do you just carry that around?" I give her a blank stare. "Im a mother of four, sometimes five depending on how Josh decides to act." She nods. "Good idea. Mason is five and Marie is three. I need to start doing that. We always go back to grab food." I smile. "I'll make you a bag of stuff. I always have one with me. It has coloring books, books they currently have interests in, a variety of snacks, water, flavored water for when they complain at the taste, a portable DVD player with DVDs, and a first aid kit."

"How do you even carry all that in one bag?" I laugh. "It's a big bag. I could fit Audrey in it if I wanted to. But you only have two and they can't read chapter books yet. So yours would all fit in a back pack." Leo just stares at me. "You really have this mom thing down. How does Josh handle being a father?"

"He plays with the kids a lot. He takes care of them, protects them, and teaches them right from wrong. He loves it. Now I hate to end this chat but I have an assassin to deal with."
