After we ate I allowed the girls to swim. I was just watching them silently when Josh spoke. "I agreed to be a father figure for the girl. For two main reasons. One, because you love her so much and if I want you I need to accept her. Two, because she obviously needs the protection. I won't treat her different for not being mine. She is innocent in this. It will be a little hard to know that I wasn't her biological father but I can be just as good as one. I can see her being the protector of our daughter. I will love her as if she is my own." I smile and kiss his cheek.

"The day I found out I was pregnant with her was both the most exciting and worry some day of my life. I has i hide in the woods for those months I was pregnant with her so my father wouldn't kill my baby. When I came back I snuck inside in the middle of the night and placed her in that room. The next morning I made it look like I had just wandered on to the land by mistake. Em knew I was missing for that time and I felt terrible leaving. She was unharmed when I returned so I eased my regret. But to this day I have never stopped feeling guilty. Wolves heal fast, so there is no telling what she has really been through. Before I left she had this carefree, no worrying attitude. When I returned she was terrified. She just worked herself out of it when Leo came. I will forever be grateful to him for that."

I smile at the kids in the water. "Our kids are going to grow up with everything. I missed out on a lot growing up, I will make sure the get to do it all. Disneyland, Six flags, the water parks, Great wolf lodge, everything. They will have friends and I'll even let Ruyi teach them to fight. But for now, I have to get through this pregnancy.

*Six months later*

"Come on Ami! Time to get your father!" I call out to my daughter. She runs up to me. "Training with Ruyi is awesome! Ever since I shifted she has let me do all kinds of cool obstacle courses." She says as we get in the car. "That sounds great sweetie. Let's get your dad and get some ice cream." I smile. "Yeah!"

Josh takes his sweet time finishing paper work. "Come on dad!" Ami calls. I hear him laugh from the office. "If you don't hurry up I am going to send her in there in her wolf form!" I threaten. "I'm coming!" He shouts immediately. "Just a few more-" I nod at Ami and she runs in. "Ami! Get off the desk! Don't you dare- Ami Marie Black! You get off the chandelier!" I burst into laughter. Never in a million years did I think I would ever hear that sentence.

He finally comes out carrying the pup. "Go up to your room and get ready." I tell her. "So she was on the chandelier?" I ask. He nods with a laugh. "Did you get a picture?" He pulls his phone out and shows me a picture of the white pup standing on the chandelier. I laugh all over again. I feel a sharp pain in my abdomen. "Ack. Josh, I need to get to the hospital." I whimper.

Ten minutes later I'm sitting on the bed with a nurse telling me I cant have pain medication. "I swear if you do not let me have some so it stops hurting I will personally castrate you!" I shout at him. "I'm sorry ma'am doctors orders." I growl. "Send him to me!" He nods and runs out. "Sweet heart, you have to stop yelling at the doctors." I growl at him.

*3 hours later*
I stare at the sweet baby girl in my arms. She has two colored eyes. One eye is silver like mine and the other is purple. I'll have to read on what that means. Mom said stuff would get rough once she was born. Now that I have my family I say one thing....
