I can tell Ami is still shaken up from her dream. I know it was very realistic. Some would say it is a premonition. (For those who don't know what that means, it is a fancy way of saying vision of the future) I know for a fact that it isn't. I wish I could make her forget the dream. Every time she sees me she hugs me, and when she sees Josh she tries to be perfect. I know he feels hurt that his daughter really believes he would have sent her away. Ami walks into our room with her eyes closed. She takes a deep breath before opening them. "It was really just a dream?" She asks. "Of course pup." Josh says gently.

She nods and runs over and hugs us both. I look over at the clock and see it's almost ten. "You need to get some sleep." She looks at me. "Dean and Dawn left to hunt for the weekend. I hunted today, but since they are full vampires they need the entire weekend... Can I sleep with you tonight?" I smile. "Of course." She snuggles in between us and we both wrap our arms around her. I fall asleep very comfortable. 

The next morning I'm awoken by my mate and all our children. "What's the special occasion?" I ask tiredly. "It is our ten year anniversary, I thought we could go on a trip. Just you and me. We are going to a private island for the weekend." I jump up and hug all my babies, including the big one. "I need to get dressed before we leave." I say. They nod and I put on my favorite black skinny jeans, black tank top and black tennis shoes. Once I'm done I hug all of my children good bye. "Ami, take care of the four little ones, Ruyi will help with Aislinn, be careful. I love you, if anything happens, call me immediately. If you have another nightmare, call. I will talk you through it. No matter what happens, remember I will be back soon. Dean and Dawn will take good care of you. Trust your mates, they are worth it."

She nods and Avery jumps into my arms. Stay safe mommy, I love you. She signs. I love you too. I sign back and kiss her forehead. I hand her to Ami. "I love you all." I say before walking to the car. After about an hour we reach the island. "We will have a bit of time on our own for the weekend." Josh says. I smile at him. "I love you." He looks down at me as we near the door to the cabin. He picks me up bridal style, and I let out a little squeal. He laughs. "Put me down!" He shakes his head. "You always carry your wife over the threshold of a house." I giggle. "But we aren't married! We are only mated!" He sets me down before getting on one knee and pulling a box out of his pocket. "Well, let's change that. Josie Black, I know you have already taken my last name, but I have loved you since I set eyes on you, you make me so happy, will you do me the honor of being my wife?" I feel a couple tears slide down my cheeks. "Yes!"
