"...so wedding after four days, huh...!!! How's the feel brother...???" Ayush, one of Bani's cousin slaps Mahir's shoulders playfully.

Four days...! I'll have to wait for Another four days !!! And she didn't say anything this time either...! Well, I was an idiot to expect the same excitement from her as mine in the first place, wasn't I!!! She's just too happy to be here instead with me I guess.

Which she should...

"Yeah...feels great!!!" Mahir grins and I immediately feel the urge to break his face.

That bastard!!! Because of him I can't take my sweetheart back with me at home and he's feeling great here!!! Well what to say to him when my own wife is feeling GREAT herself on this very proposal...!!!

Sasu ma calls us for lunch and I can hear Bani's laughter with bhabis....she sounds happy....buoyant...! She never laughs like that with me.

Well, I didn't give her much reason for...did I?

"Where are you lost standing here, huh??? Don't wanna eat???" Mahir shakes me.

I grit my teeth glaring at that rascal, "Hmm...hmm...I'll. I'll eat YOU, you fucker!!! Just wait!!!"

Mahir gulps, "Aree...relax bro! I know you must be angry because of what I said in the hall that time... But think wisely dude!! It's her sister's wedding...!!! As much as you want her with you, she would also want to be with her sister during this time, wouldn't she??? You cannot be that selfish to keep Bani with you and not enjoy her twin's wedding. Aree come on yarr!!! Ghar ki beti hein wo...padosi nhi jo barati ayegi aur khana khake chali jayegi. It's her right to stay with her family now...!!!"

As if I didn't know all these...

I sigh! Without saying anything to him I walk to dining table. Only the males of both families and the guests have been seated in the table. Bani and the other ladies are serving the food. Everyone seems to be in hurry as the ceremony will start post lunch.

As I eat quietly, Bani keeps sticking around me sometimes with chatney bowl or sometimes with halwa or something else anomalously which I ignore very warily. I know why she's doing this but the problem is that I just don't know how to react to this or what to say to her. My mind knows Everything that happened is justified but my heart won't just accept it. And I don't want to hurt her with my dogmatism. I want her happy...laugh like she was just few moments back all the time. If staying here for few more days gives her that, then I can live with that. I WILL LIVE WITH THAT!

"I'm really sorry, Abhishek... Please don't take it to your heart...!" I hear Bella's voice inside washroom while going for Washing my hands after lunch.

That means she's talking to Abhi bhai

Sharmas have stall restrooms like restaurants beside their dining room for general use. I hesitate while standing outside the door giving Bella and Abhi bhai some room. I have another option which is to go directly at Bani's room but right now I'd rather stand here and listen Bella and Abhi bhai's convo than have any pissing contest with Bani.

"It's totally unnecessary, Bella. Don't be sorry at all. I can understand the circumstance." Abhi bhai replies.

Bella: Umm no Abhi...I know that you've been hurt because of my deed. Anyone in your shoe would mind. But trust me I was going to tell you everything in person once you got back from Singapore. I was too insensitive not to think about others...especially about You while doing the stupidity of accepting that marriage proposal. I'm really really sorry... Abhi...! Please forgive me.
