"I should really get free from you...you know!" Those words hit me like the last hammer of smith. I know this is what exactly she should do...this is what I've been saying her repeatedly since she's set her foot here...but coming it from her mouth got me on harder stroke than I imagined.

She's ready to leave. Leave this relationship. Leave me...

The air feels as if stuck in my ears. Everything around me again starts oscillating without making sense. And suddenly I'm scared. 'Cause this time I'll be left with nothing. With no hope...no waiting. Everything will be gone....!!

"What happened?? Did you hear what I said??" Bani's voice comes from very far even though she's sitting right beside me.

I lift my eyes at her and her lips move again this this more clear and louder, "I said that I'm ready to get out of this relationship. But are you ready to accept that??"

While battling through the mixed emotions storming inside me, my eyes automatically fall over her bandaged hand and then on the blood stained glass piece that's lying innocently on the floor beside us. This brings my whole sense into sharper view again.

There were shouting...raising hands...!.And today....THIS happened. There's no guarantee that tomorrow won't happened anything worse...

I gulp my hard lump before nodding, "Hmm." I don't think I can utter anything more.

"So you are ready to give up after coming this far?? After chasing me this long...making me free from my doubts...convincing me to again live the fairy tale I used to live once...NOW You are all set to tarnish me again, huh??" Bani stares at me with hard glare.

"Bani...!" I sigh.

Bani Sharma has high maintenance on her ego. She won’t revolt her decision untill I hit her there.

"Can't you see?? Can't you see how things have turned out? I'm sick of living like this. This is the betterment for everyone. Go. Live your life and let me live mine." I snap as cavalierly as possible.

"So you think we can't have a better life together??" Bani snaps back

"No, we can't. I CAN'T!! I don't need this anymore. I was better before. Go home. I'll talk my parents and yours too...then send the legal notice as soon as possible...or you can send them too if you...." a fierce slap hits my face stopping me at midway.

"SHUT UP!!! HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT TO ME, YARR!!! HOW. COULD. YOU!!!P YOU THINK IT'S CINEMA GOING ON??? WHAT ARE YOU...THE BEST ACTOR???" Bani's spats with her heated voice, "Get out of your delusional World Veeranshu Singhania,  'cause you are no actor!! You. Are. Sick. YOU ARE FUCKING MENTALLY SICK!!!" saying this she pushes me back hitting hard on my chest .

She's literally shaking in anger. I close my eyes silently taking one more of her slap with those piercing words. So she indeed believes now that I'm....

Suddenly Bani grabs me by my collars and brings her face near mine fiercely, "You know what..?? I used to think that I am the only stubborn one...selfish one who doesn’t care about anyone but myself. But I was so damn wrong!! You are the most selfish one. YOU care about NO-ONE. Not about me... Not even yourself... You Jerk!!!" The moment where I was expecting few more slaps from her never comes but instead I feel her wet lips pressed on mine.

She doesn't wait for my response instead starts kissing my whole face as if she's gotten me after long time back. Her action is so sudden and unexpected that I'm again back on my blank phase. After filling everywhere of my face finally Bani pulls off.

Tears glisten at the corner of her eyes as she looks at me fervently, "Don't do this with me, Veer. Don't Ever Say This In Your Joke That You Don't Need Me. I can bear anything... ANYTHING that you'll give me but I can't live without you once again, please...!!! And I know you can't either!!!"
