Veer looks down at Bani observing her reaction but Bani doesn't say anything...just stands still waiting for Veer to elaborate.

Veer sighs then continues, "Look...I know I've been doing fine and with you here I'll function lot better no doubt. But...Bani, I can't take the risk of what if it happens what happened last time again..!!" He says in a vulnerable voice, "We'll be living together... we'll have fights, hard days of our own...tough times and I really don't want to lose my shit on you every time and ruin everything. Let's admit we both are hotheaded yet you are always so considerate to me...my temper. I can see how you recheck on my reactions every time something happens. This is not healthy, Bani. Your mental health matters too."

Bani interjects gazing at Veer softly, "Okay.... butting in for a moment....! I'm not questioning your decision or anything but why are you making it sound like we're in a toxic relationship??? It's not that bad you know...!!! I'm okay and I'm the happiest with you, just to let you know...!!!"

Veer smiles, "I know. But you know it too that things can deteriorate, right??? I can't put it all on you, sweetheart. We both are in it and I've to take the responsibility of keeping this relationship healthy as well. So Before we really fall into something toxic I want to sort things that are in my hand. I can't sit here idle pretending everything to be fine when I know I can be the reason for your sad tears. That's why I have decided that I will go for therapy again. You will..." He looks at Bani tentatively, "stay by my side this whole time, yeah???"

Bani keeps staring at Veer. Her eyes are glistening in adoration and something Veer has been seeing for years now since the first time. Sometimes Bani looks at him with this strange mystery as if she has discovered something in him.

"Sweetheart...??" Veer cocks his head.

"Do you know why I'm so in love with you???" Bani speaks holding her gaze, "From the first day you have been a jerk...and at the same time you're so.....human!!! You make all these humanly error and then have the guts to admit them. You never back away.....you don't fake...! You can accept your flaws so glibly and actually work to be a better version of yourself and this is not everyone's cup of tea. You are so... pretty!! You feel so good to look at, Veeranshu." Bani whispers... admiration oozing out of her voice.

Veer still at this sudden confession taking in everything. His own throat bobs in emotions while he manages to utter, "Well...I would rather prefer if you simply called me hot, you know sweetheart!!!"

Bani sniffs a chuckle, "I'm not talking about your stupid face, you self obsessed moron!! I'm talking about this!!" She places her palm on the left side of Veer's chest, then moves it up his head tapping the side of his temple, "and this!! And everything in between!! You're a beautiful person, Veer. It's impossible to not love you...Damn!!!" Bani suddenly feels overwhelmed and looks away wiping the burning tears from the corner of her eyes.

"Hey...hey...!! Sweetheart!!! What is this tears now???" Veer cups Bani's face pulling her to him, "Now we got a problem you know!!! I hate it when you cry. Please don't. Just know that whatever I am... whatever You're seeing me as, is all because of you, okay!!! You make me want to admit my flaws. You make me want to become a better person. For you....for us. Now please stop crying." He presses her head to his chest controlling his own emotion.

"I love you." Bani mumbles, "And yes I'll stay by you side. Always. Whatever you decide it. I'll support you." She moves her head up and presses a chaste kiss on Veer's lips.

Veer smiles into the kiss and whispers, "I love you too, sweetheart!! Always." then he adds, "I'll let Mahir know though... about this. But not others. I mean I won't hide it from anybody of our family but I'm not telling them on my own either unless they ask anything."

Bani smiles back, "That's just fine. I'll pack our bags now."

Bani starts folding her saree when Veer comes hugging her from behind and mutters, "You know we'll still have some time left. What's so rush?? Instead we can you know...." Veer starts nibbling Bani's earlobe while playing with her navel, "we can use this time to make some moment for us...!!"

Bani's pulse quickens making her knees wobble. But she doesn't give in entirely instead elbows Veer hard making him yelp, "Shut up!!! Always one track mind!!! Pack your own bag!!!"

Veer grumbles behind leaving her waist. He takes a saree from the bag and throws it on the other side of the bed. Bani smiles at his antics...then clear her throats, "Well, if you now help me with packing and then we really get some time left, then ahem.... I'll think about a quick shower. Together!" She adds glancing at him.

Veer's eyes shot up not believing his luck. The next second he speaks robotically springing back to the wardrobe, "I'll take out my clothes asap!!"
