Bani's POV
before I can reach the gate, someone grabs my wrist tight stopping me from running behind the car.

Recognizing her, I warn out trying to take away my hand, "Bella, Not now! Leave my hand!!" my eyes at still at Veer's running car.

"Aree Bani...but where are you going like this, hmm??" Bella asks genuinely perplexed.

This time yanking my hand away I turn to her and spat, "I'm going to clear the shit that you've created in my life!! Got your answer? Now leave me!!"

"What...? What are you talking about Bani??" My heart gives a tweak seeing her fallen face but she really asked for this!

"WHAT?? YOU ARE ASKING ME WHAT?? YOU TELL ME WHAT GAVE YOU THE AUDACITY TO COUNTER VEER IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!" Bella flinch at my outburst but soon composes herself realising what I just said.

Then looking at other way states in a cold tone, "I did what I thought right, Bani. I don't need to answer you for that."

Oh really!!

"Yes, you do!! And whatever the hell you thought right was TOTALLY WRONG!! Whatever the equation I and Veer share, that's between us, Bella. You have NO right to target Veer about that!! Do you have any idea how hurt he has been because of what you accused him for...!!!" my eyes burn once again.

Right now I'm more angry on myself than on Bella. I said the exact same thing that Bella has charged him for. Needless to say I've done the better damage!!

"What I accused him for...?" Bella scoffs, "Well first thing, I didn’t accuse him for anything false, okay!! You're too blind in your love that you don't even regard his abusing behaviour, Bani. But others do! I DO!! I don't like the way he keeps you on your toes for his mighty mood all the time!! He had a heart break once upon a time? Fine! You did too! So did us!! He suffered that for the situation and his own karma, you were not at the fault, okay!! And just because he has gone through depression, doesn’t give him the liberty to make others suffer through the same too, you know!!"

"Bella...!! Whatever Veer has gone through, is in the past! For god's sake! Don't judge his present on the scale of his past!!" I inhale pressing my teeth together to calm myself.

"Come on, Bani!!" Bella rolls her eyes, "What's truth is truth. Just wake up for once and see things for real. If I were at your place, what would you do, huh? If Mahir treated me the way Veer treats you, would you accept that all silently?? You don't even stand a simple mistake any stranger does, then you tell me, would you just keep quiet and let it pass just because he has a certified mental issue??"
