Veer's PoV
I look at Mahir nodding my head and he sighs understanding my point.

"Yes. We do have a relationship from before. Bella was my girlfriend back in the collage. And Bani was Veer's." Mahir drops the bomb.

"Mahir...!!!" Bella whispers staring at Mahir in fear.

"What Bella...! How long are we going to keep it secret from everyone??? I have already waited for six years. I cannot wait anymore." Mahir snaps at Bella.

I look at Bani to see she's looking melancholically down at her toes. Exactly this is why I think it's time that everyone should know everything. She's still remorsing over our ill fated past...the loss of my family. Unless I tell everyone the truth and make it clear that it's not her fault, she Won't leave her grief behind.

"Exactly." I say agreeing with mahir, "Already six years got ruined because of this. We kept things away from each other and here we are today. Every time we are hiding something, it's leading us to another lie...another trouble. What's the point of all this??? I admit by luck I and Bani got married but NOT how it should have been! And About You, Bella... Of course you're not gonna marry Abhi bhai, then why are you still trying keep it a secret that you love Mahir??? Sooner or later everyone will know this!"

"Six years!!! Bella??? Bani??? How long has this been happening??? You two were in relationships with this two for so long and you didn't let us know??? Bella...!!! What is this??? Didn't we ask you if you had any relationship before settling this marriage proposal??? Why didn't you tell us then???" mummy asks her daughters accusingly.

"We didn't have the relationship then, mummy." Bella replies meekly.

"What???" Tapish bhai asks shocked and equally irritated.

"What are you people talking about??? Mahir...Veer!!!" my bua whispers, "All this time you people knew them...we fixed your brother's marriage with her, still you didn't raise a voice on this matter that she's your...girlfriend, Mahir??? How could you fool us like you didn't know each other and play with our sentiments??? Is this some kind of joke to you???" she looks deeply hurt.

"Relax mom. It's not what you're thinking." Mahir replies calmly.

"Then how is it??? Care to explain anyone of you???" My mom snaps back. The whole room has become icy-struck.

Mahir sighs, "Fine. When I found out about Bella being Abhi bhai's fiancee, we were not in the situation to talk about this."

"What do you mean we were not at the situation about that???" mummy ji asks becoming visibly peeved, "Look boys...girls!!! Enough of your crackpotting. Now you will tell us everything. EVERYTHING!!! Not a single point missing!!!"

"Look aunty... Everyone...please don't misunderstand us. It's not as simple as it sounds." Mahir starts, "Yes, we knew each other from our collage days. Bani and Bella was freshers. We...fell in love and got involved into a relationship. But because of some misunderstanding we fell apart. Then when we meet after all these years..." but my dad cuts him.

"Maybe you didn't hear her correctly Boy!!! She said everything!!! STOP GIVING US SIDELINES!!!" My dad growls.

"FINE!!! YOU WANNA HEAR EVERYTHING???THEN LISTEN THE CRAP UP!!!" I shout unable to control my temper but as soon as my eyes meet Bani's I see her pleading me for....for what??? To calm down??? She mouths at me beseechingly, 'Please'.

I take a deep breath to calm myself and start, "Seven years back, in Mumbai's college...We met through a friend of ours, Piyush. He got into a trouble with Bella and Bani. That made us hell angry and when we went to face them...I Bani and Mahir Bella, both of them showed quite some attitude that we hurt our ego. So we made a bet on them."
