I wait for some time but no reply comes. I again go back to work thinking she might not get my msg but yet after another hour I see no reply.

Did she get angry because of my being late??

Well, with Bani that's not impossible. The way her expression changed when she heard that I was coming to office instead of going inside with her. Unknowingly a smile forms on my lips. Who knew that brawler Bani could be such a wifey material.

After long battle of last night, when I saw her beautiful yet broken face in the morning.....finally I knew what I had to do. Leaving her was never my option. But this time I'm gonna hold onto her for once more. I've seen her remorse last night. I have seen the broken inside of her that she hides so perfectly under her feisty cover. If I give up on her...she's gonna turn out to be another me. And never in my nightmare do I want that....

I shut down my laptop and get up from my seat. It's just 10:00 in the clock. Usually I don't go home this early. But today it's getting impossible for me to concentrate with Bani in my head. So, better I go now and see if it's red zone or green zone for me in the bedroom.

Half an hour later I park my car in the garage. When I get home, I see everyone sitting disturbed in the hall room. As I enter everyone looks at me in distress.

"What is it everyone? Why are you guys staring at me like this?" I ask sceptically.

Probably too shocked to see me this early for the first time in ages.....

But then Mom looks at me miserably and says, "Wo...beta....Bani....."

My inside gives a loud thud. What about Bani..... Did something happen to her??? Why didn't I think of it when I got no msg or call from her!!! And why the hell are they telling me this now!!!

"Wha....what happened to Bani? Is she alright?" I ask keeping myself as calm as possible.

"Veer.....Did something happen between you two within this hour???" Dad asks tightly.

"DAMMIT DAD!!! Will you guys just tell me what happened? Where is Bani??? BANI!!!" I shout loudly looking upstairs. The worst doubt has already crossed through my mind.

"Umm....Veer bhai....Bani left the house. Just now." Ahana confirms my doubt in a blink and I stop.

"What!!!" I whisper.

Again!!! She left me again!!!

"Er...just half an hour before...she was alright when you sent the dresses. But then suddenly don't know what happened...she came running downstairs... dragged Mahir bhai up in your room....umm then after sometime got out and left without saying anything." Ahana says again, "Umm...she was crying so much....we tried to stop her...but Mahir bhai told us not to."

My head is reeling. I don't know what to say or what to do. Everything around me has stopped making sense. How could she do that to me again!

They said she left crying
Did she again misunderstood something??
WHERE THE HELL DID SHE GO AT THIS HOUR??

Kunal bhai touches my back, "Veer..... Don't panic. Mahir has gone behind her. Why don't you call Mahir and find out where she is..."

Right! Mahir! This time I go behind her or not...at least I need to confirm that she's safe.

I quickly take out my phone to dial Mahir's number....at the same time Mahir calls behind me, "Veer!!!"

I turn back. He's alone.
