"Looks like your honewala patidev has no time sense😏" I look irritatedly at Bella.

"Shut up!!! Don't call him my THAT😐" Bella snaps back at me.

"Why??? Didn't you agree to be his bride that day??? Then obviously it's him who'd be your dear dear soon-to-be hubby, right?" I poke her.

"Bani Sharma, I said shut up!!!😡" she glares at me.

Rolling my eyes I take a sip from my juice. Currently we are sitting in a restaurant to meet my Potential-Jija-ji, Abhishek Singhania.

Singhania... Singhania... you slapped him!!!

Godd!!! Shut up, bitch!!! I tell my mind. It has been poking me since yesterday continuously reminding me that I slapped HIM! As if I need a reminder.😒

Don't think about him. Yeah...where were we??? Abhishek...yes we are waiting for Abhishek as it's officially Bella's and his first date after the marriage fixation. But my sister is not yet ready to accept that 'would-be' thing when she herself has made him her 'would-be' by accepting the proposal. I still remember that day...

After the GUESTS left, I dragged her to my room,

"What do Think you just did, huh???" I shook her.

"Well, wasn't this proposal decided a long time ago?" she replied in an indifferent way.

"Bella!!!" I didn't know what to say her, "that time it was different. Now the situation has changed." I said to her, exasperated.

"The situation is still the same," she folds her hands, " only I've changed. And I have moved on. It doesn't matter whether Mahir is there or not." she said sternly.

"So, you are saying that....you don't care if Mahir is your Devar?🤨" I try to instigate her.

"Mahir is nothing to me, you get it!!!!" she snaps back, "And yes...I Don't care.... I will prove it." she says in a firm tone though her eyes showed no firmness at all🙄

I come back to present. I look at my watch. It's 10 past 5:00 pm and that guy is 30 minutes late🙄.

"I'm telling you...you're doing mistake. Think again...let's tell our parents... I'm sure they will bend the rule this time....or better idea let's tell Abhishek to break this proposal...?" I try to convince her for the last time.

"Shut up!!!😐 stop poking in my business. I told you once that I know what I'm doing. Besides, you know our family rule...they will never listen once you say yes." she reminds me.

What is it that everybody keeps reminding me things today??😒 And you slapped him!!

"Hi Bella. Sorry, if I'm late..!!!" Abhishek comes panting.

"Not 'if'....You Are late😏" I glare at him.

"Umm...hi Bani. I didn't know that you would come with Bella, today🙂?" Abhishek gives me uneasy smile.

"Well, first thing you should know is that I am the one who takes interviews of my sisters boyfriends or dates...or whatever you say.." I look at him pointedly, "....and second thing is that if I don't like that person then I pour whatever there is in my hands over his head. So...you better prepare yourself for any kind of situation, you know..." I give him a smug smile.

Abhishek continuously stares between me and the juice in my hands in fear😏.

"Ha...tum bilkul sahi soch rhe ho..." I tell him with a sweet smile.
