An- this is kind of a flashback type chapter, don't forget to pay attention to the dates :)

"I'm sorry I didn't order this." I smiled at the red head behind the bar who'd given me a drink of presumably something with Vodka.

"It's from the gentleman at the end." She pointed in the direction of a tall, scruffy haired brunette who was now waving at me. I smiled back and took a sip of my awfully strong drink as the figure made his way towards where I was sat.

"So... why is a nice pretty girl like you here all by herself ?" The guy asked. I chuckled a little to ease the awkwardness as he decided to sit down next to me. I noticed he had sharp green eyes and a thin frame, but a slightly round face. Nothing about his expression was welcoming. He acted relaxed and friendly- which only made me feel nervous.

"My friend's the lead singer in the band. He asked me to come watch and meet the other guys." I replied, fiddling with the straw in my drink.

"Oh, is he your boyfriend ?" I laughed, possibly a little too much, at the thought of Freddie being my boyfriend. The guy sat beside me looked very confused.

"No, definitely not. A friend from college. He's been in this band for a little while and wanted me to meet the others, that's all." He nodded slowly and took a sip of his own drink, letting his eyes fall up and down my frame again. None of his actions were subtle nor gentle.

"What's your name then love ?" The guy questioned. I paused and hesitated- did I want this guy to know me ? But I figured knowing my name wasn't gonna be a big deal.

"Lottie Nicks, yours ?" I smiled very briefly at him, hoping he would leave after learning my name. He seemed alright, but I wasn't interested in leaving the pub with someone else. I'd simply come to watch Freddie's gig.

"Noah, Noah Lee." Noah grabbed his drink and smiled at me before leaving me and taking a seat at the other end of the bar, where he'd been originally sat.

I finished the remainder of my drink and took a seat at a little table by the stage. I noticed a big smile on the bass drum as well as a banner in the back with the band's name across- 'Smile'.

I took another glance at Noah, who smiled at me again when he noticed my eyes had caught his. I smiled in return before turning my attention to the band who were now taking their position on stage.

I was immediately drawn to the guitarist. He was very tall, most likely taller than any of the other members, and had very dark, curly hair. He wore a white shirt and some tight dark jeans, complimented by his red guitar.

"Hello all you beautiful people." Freddie grabbed the microphone and introduced himself to the small crowd that was gathering in front of the band. My eyes caught his as they were moving across stage and we exchanged a little smile.

"This is our bassist, John Deacon." He pointed to the long haired figure to his left who answered in a small wave and smile. He had long light brown hair, and wore jeans similar to the guitarists as well as a plain checkered shirt. Freddie was of course wearing some outrageously tight jeans that would probably burst if he sat down, and a very exotic shirt, that perfectly matched his personality. Fred was always different, and he really stuck out compared to the two guys stood either side of him on stage.

"And Brian May." The guitarist on Fred's left gave a small wave before letting his hand return to the guitar.

"Don't forget Roger of course... biggest member of them all." Freddie stepped to his right to give the crowd a clear view of the blonde mop sat behind the drum kit. He gave a small wave similar to John and Brian, causing a few girls to laugh and call his name. I noticed Freddie roll his eyes as the drummer shook his head at the girls clearly falling for him. I mean, he was pretty attractive, but I think Fred would kill me if I left his gig with the drummer. Besides, I wasn't overly interested in hooking up with anyone.
