15th July 1972
"Oh cmon darling it could of been worse." Freddie said, a smug smirk pulling at his lips. I shrugged and nodded as Freddie passed me a hot cup of tea and took a seat next to me on his lovely blue velvet couch.
"I mean yeah... you're right." I shrugged. Fred rolled his eyes playfully and laughed.
"I'm always bloody right." I chuckled and took a sip of my tea, which was definitely still too hot to drink.
"In all fairness, things were ok with Roger and let's be honest darling that's what you were scared of." Fred's tone became quieter as my expression grew more shocked.
"How the fuck do you always know everything ?" I laughed.
"You should've seen your face every time Roger said a single word to you !" Freddie exclaimed, causing me to put my head in my hands in embarrassment.
"Do you regret kissing Roger ?" I peeled my head up from my cold palms and looked at Freddie, who was eagerly waiting for an answer with his cup of tea between both hands. That was a question I'd never wanted to hear, but it had answer I'd always wanted to tell.
"No, I don't."
"Why did you not see him after that ? Or atleast try and patch things up ?" Fred asked, needing more answers to more questions.
"Because of Emily, bad timing I suppose. I didn't like Roger or anything though." I blushed a little, which immediately caught the singers attention. He chuckled a little and took a loud sip from his mug.
"We all know you did. At one point, though I'm not sure when, you were definitely hung up on that drummer darling." I laughed, trying to convince Freddie he was far from wrong. However I had a feeling he was right and it really fucking annoyed me.
"Oh fuck you." We both laughed and Freddie rolled his eyes playfully.
"Well, on the topic of my band mates, it's Brian's birthday on the 19th..." The laughter between us quickly died down as Fred was somehow reminded of the guitarists upcoming birthday.
"We're going out or something, I can't entirely remember, but anyway you're coming." Freddie spoke strictly like he usually would when demanding me to leave the house.
"Fred I dunno, I'm not sure if I wanna go out."
"I don't give a fuck. Brian's birthday only happens once a year you can't miss it." He replied, still speaking with a stricter tone.
"No shit Sherlock." I snapped. He laughed a little, breaking his mum like form.
"Hilarious. Anyway you have to come, I told Bri you would be there." I finished off my cup of tea and lit a cigarette, nodding a little in agreement. Freddie smiled, overjoyed he'd be the one to get me to (almost) willing leave the house.
"Fine I'll come, but only if you stop acting like my mum."
