Chapter 26

-Time skip-

A lot has happened after we got back to the prison. Mackenzie's finally letting Allison be around Merle, but I don't think he's to fond of having a little kid follow him around. Ricks been trying to make a deal with the Governor.

The whole groups been getting all the weapons ready incase the Governor to attacks again.

"Carl go stash these at the loading dock." Glenn said

"If anyone gets pinned down we need to make sure they have enough amo." He said

"What we should be doin is loadin some of this fire power into the truck and payin a visit to the Governor. We know where he is right now." Merle said

"You sayin we should just go in and kill them?" I asked

"Yeah I am little lady." he said to me

I started to say a come back until Michonne interrupted.

"We told Rick and Daryl that we'd stay put." she said

"I've changed my mind sweetheart bein on the sidelines with my brother out there ain't sittin right with me." Merle said

"Three of them are sitting right in the middle of it no idea we're coming they could takin hostage or killed." Glenn said

"My dad can take care of himself." said Carl just walking in

"Sorry son but your dad's head could be sittin on a pipe real soon." Merle said

Carl started walking away.

"Damn it Merle." I snapped at him and started chasin after Carl"

"Don't say that to him." I heard Maggie say as I was leaving

"Carl come on get your ass back here, cause I don't wanna chase after you!" I hollered

He stopped and turned around

"What do you want Cher to come say that your Uncles right, that I don't have a mom might as well not have my dad. Well guess what Cher I can take care of myself. If my dad turned I would be able to kill him on the spot because I don't need anyone, I can take care of myself." He yelled and stormed off

"F*** you!" I screamed at him

"Just give him a little time Cherokee." I heard Beth say

"Whatever you say." I said and walked away

I walked into the cafeteria and saw Merle grabbing stuff.

"The hell goin with that?" I asked

"Out." he said and smirked

"Hey you're not going." Glenn said

"You can't stop me." Merle said

"If you're gonna live here you haft to live on our terms" Maggie said

He kept packing.

"If Michonne can do it why can you?" Maggie yelled

"Cause it's ma brother out there that's why. What's the matter with y'all." Merle yelled

"Merle you can't go." I heard a voice behind me

Mckenzie walked out holding Allison.

"And whys that?" he asked

"Cause you have a daughter that's why." she said

"And why should I care." he yelled

"Daddy?" Allison asked

She ran over and grabbed his leg. Merle tensed up.

"What." he snapped

"Why you leavin?" she asked

"Cause I have to Ally-bear." he said

She let go of his leg and he started walking up the stairs.

"I'm not gonna let you put them in danger." Glenn said

"Get it on your head, guy feels up your woman and you chicken out like this. Get out if ma way." Merle said

"No." Glenn said

Merle tackled Glenn and they started fighting. Bailey walked in.

"Damn why do I always miss the good stuff." she said

Merle then pulled a knife of Glenn. Michonne and Maggie tried to pull him off of Glenn. There was a gunshot. Beth was standing on the stairs.

"Let me go!" Merle yelled and got free

Carl walked into my cell a few hours later.

"Hey." he said

"What do you want?" I asked trying to keep calm

"Just to say I'm sorry." he said

"For what?" I asked

"You now what for Cher." he said

"No I really don't Carl I don't know why you get so mad at everything Carl. But guess what Carl you have a short fuse and if that fuse goes off at the wrong time you will get somebody or yourself hurt." I yelled

I heard Judith crying.

"Now you woke the baby." I snapped and stormed into Ricks cell

Rick, dad, and Hershel came back a few hours later.

"Let's get inside." Rick said

We walked into the cafeteria

"So I met this Governor, sat with him for quite a while. Rick said

"Should've gone when we had the chance." Merle said and walked out

"He wants the prison, he wants us gone, dead, he wants us dead. For what we did to Woodbury. We're going to war." Rick said
