Chapter 6

-There will be some cussing in this chapter but nothing major.-

They finally got my dad under control. Shane walked up to Jenner with a gun. He started shooting computers. Carl crawled over to me while his mom wasn't watching.

"Cherokee?" he whispers

"What." I snap

"I like you." he says quietly and goes back to his mom

"What?" I say but when I look up he's not there.

We were trying to find a way to brake the glass at the CDC.

"Rick I have something that might help." says Carol reaching in her bag.

"Carol I don't think a nail files going to work.

Sassy Shane Walsh, I think. Then Carol pulls out a grenade.

-The CDC blew up
-Jaqui stayed behind
-Andrea almost stayed behind.
-We are know at a highway
-And I think I MIGHT BE GOING CRAZY!

"Sophia stay in my sight." said Carol

"You to Carl." said Lori

"Stay with the kids Cher." said my dad

We were looking in the cars when Rick whispers

"Get under the cars."

I look at him confused then I see a heard with about a million walkers.

"Crap." I say then pull Sophia under a car

We stayed there for a couple minutes we thought there wasn't anymore so Sophia and I slid from under the cars. Sophia screams when I see there's a couple of walkers left. We start running in the woods.

"Sophia I'm going to stall them try to find the highway."

"No don't go." she cries

"Just go!" I say and she starts running.
I then see the walkers still going after Sophia.

"Crap." I breath and start running after her. I ran after her and bumped into Rick.

"Where's Sophia?" I shout

"I told her to go back to the highway." he breathed

I started running to the highway I get there with Rick and see no Sophia.

"Where is she?" Carol cries

"She's not back yet?" Rick asks

They start talking when my dad drags me away from them.

"The hell was that!" he snaps

"I couldn't leave her dad." I say

"You should've stayed Rick had her!" he yelled

"Do you see her anywhere! She's not here Rick didn't bring her back!" I shouted

"Well that doesn't mean you had to go after her!" he yelled

"Yeah and you'd probably wish I'd died instead of mom!" I shouted

I see his face full of anger and then full of sadness. We'd always fight but none of us ever brought mom up.

"I'm going to the R.V." I mumble

I bumped into Carl.

"Watch where you're going Grimes." I snapped

"You know I meant what I said at the CDC." he says

"What?" I say

"That I like you." he says then walks away.

We decided to split into groups to find Sophia after we found the church.
My dad and the women and Rick,Carl,Shane, and I. We'd been looking for a while then Carl saw a deer. We had started to walk up to it. When we heard a shot. Carl fell to the ground.
