Chapter three

Cherokee's POV

"Sophia!"

"Carl!" screamed Carol and Lori

I was running around killing all the walkers I could. I was trying to protect Carl and Sophia. I ran away trying to find some people. I turned and saw Jim getting bit.

"Please please don't tell." he begged

"I won't." I breathed

We heard gunshots the others were back in camp. As soon as we killed all the walkers Carl ran crying to his dad.

I felt something grab my arm. A walker was trying to bite me.

I started to scream

My dad shot it with his crossbow.

I started running towards my dad crying.

"Daddy! Daddy" I said crying

I ran into his arms crying he
picked me up and took me to our tent. I laid down and fell asleep.

I woke up crying silent sobs racked my body. I quickly got dressed in simple shorts and a plaid shirt and ran to Carl's tent. I opened up the tent and nudged him awake.

"Carl!" I whispered

"Carl!" I said louder.

He jolted awake and fell out of his sleeping bag. He looked up and saw me.

He sighed,pulled me down with him and just held me.

"It's ok it's just a dream nothing's going to happen to you as long as I'm here.'" he said softly

I smiled

"Besides if any walker tried to get you I'd take them down."

I started to giggle.

"Yeah you and what army?" I asked

"Hey! I'm tough!" he claimed

"Lets head to the RV." I said softly

"Ok." he said

When we got their everybody was burning bodies.

"I'm gonna give my regards to Amy." I said

"Ok I'll meet up later." said Carl as he ran to his mom.

"Hey Andrea." I said voice cracking.

"Hey." she mumbled

"I'm so sorry she was so young she didn't deserve this but she's in a better place." I said

She didn't answer.

" Andrea she was like a sister. But Andrea you need to keep going you can't give up it may seem hard but I know you have a meaning in this world." I said

I was helping Jim and Jaqui move the bodies.

"Is that blood?" she asked

Oh god

"Got some on me from the attack." he said calmly

"That bloods fresh." she said

"I'm fine." he said getting nervous

"Then show me!" she said loudly

Everybody was looking at us.

"Don't tell." he said as he looked at me scared

"Y'all Jim's been bit." she said as she got up

Everybody came over. T-dog lifted up Jim's shirt, their was a big bite mark on his stomach. My dad tried to stab him in the head. I stepped in front of him.

"Don't hurt him." I said

He put down the pick axe.

We buried everybody and were getting ready to leave to the CDC.

"We're not going." Morale's wife said

"Goodbye." I said to Eliza and Lucas as I hugged them.

I hugged Morales and his wife. Eliza gave Sophia her doll. We were ready to leave when I ran over to Eliza and Lucas.

"Here." I said as I handed Eliza one my mood rings and Lucas a pocket knife.
"To remember me." I said voice cracking

We hugged each other "Stay safe you guys.'' I said

Sophia came up behind me. I gave her a mood ring that matches mine and Eliza's.

"Girls hurry up!" the adults yelled

We hugged each other then left.

I was riding with my dad to the CDC

it was a four hour drive so I went to sleep.

I woke up crying.

"What's the matter with you girl?" my dad asked

"Nothing." I sighed

We stopped to take a break. I road in the RV taking care of Jim.We stopped again we had to leave Jim behind it was to much for him. I was the last one to say goodbye.

"Bye Jim." I sobbed

"Bye girl." he said

"Goodbye." I said running to the RV.

"Hey Carl." I said

"Hey." He said

Carl and I held hands as Lori was pulling us along. No one was here.

"Rick! No ones here." I said

He wasn't listing to anybody he kept hitting the door and saying the camera moved.

"You led us to a graveyard!" my dad yelled while grabbing me.

"Walkers!" Carl yelled

"C'mon Rick we have to go." said Shane pulling Rick away

"C'mon Cher." my dad said pulling me away

Then the doors opened.
