Chapter 9

I started walking back to the farm, on the way Kira had fallen asleep. When I got there Shane ran over and started yelling.

"What the hell." he yelled

"I couldn't leave her Shane shes only 5." I snapped

"She's another mouth to feed." He yelled getting everyone's attention

Everybody started walking over.

"What's going on?" Rick said

"She brought a kid with her Rick."said Shane

"She's just a little girl Rick." I reasoned

"She's a waste of time and another mouth to feed Rick." Shane yelled

"She stays Shane, Cherokee take her to Hershel to make sure shes alright." Rick said

"Yes Rick." I said and started walking to the house

Shane started yelling at Rick. I walked into the house and saw Maggie.

"Is your dad here?" I said

"He's upstairs." she said and walked outside

I walked upstairs.

"Hershel can you check her over make sure shes alright." I said laying her on the bed

"I'll check her over." he said and got his medical bag.

"I'll be back later." I said and walked outside

I started walking towards the barn. They told us they didn't want us near the barn but they could be hiding something in there that's helpful. I started climbing the ladder when I got to the top I saw something I didn't want to see.

"Shit." I mumble as I looked down and saw about a few dozen walkers in the barn.

I jumped from the barn and and saw Glenn.

"You can't tell anybody." he said

"Why not?" I snapped

"Because I promised Maggie." he said

"You're gonna put all our lives in danger because of your girlfriend!" I yelled

"Just don't tell." he stuttered

"Fine but there're going to find out sometime." I said

He was still looking worried.

"Earth to Glenn." I said snapping my fingers

"What." he sighed

"Is there anything else you want to tell me." I said

"No." he stuttered

"Tel me Chinaman." I yelled

"Lori's pregnant." he said

"What?" I screamed

"Shh you can't tell anybody." he said looking around

"Fine." I said and stormed off

I started walking towards the group.

"I think you should do some gun training." Rick said

"I already know how to use a gun Rick." I said

"Well you should at least get some practice." he sighed

"Fine." I said and got in the truck

We rode to a field as started setting up bottles. Everybody was hitting at least some of the cans.

"Rick shes not going to hit that target." Shane laughed

I scoffed as shot the can dead center.

"Who's not gonna hit the target now Shane." I laughed and walked away

We got back in the cars a few hours later and drove back to the farm.

We were in camp and I saw Maggie looking at Glenn. He got up and started walking towards us.

"Um guys." he said

We all looked up at him.

"So the barns full of walkers." he said

Everybody looked up at him. Everybody started walking to the barn.

"You can not tell me you're all right with this?" Shane stated

"I'm not but this isn't our land." Rick said

Everybody started arguing. I walked up to the house.

"Hey Herschel is Kira ok?" I said

"She's fine just a few bruises." he said

"Will she be able to go outside?" I asked

"Yes but she needs to take it easy." he said and walked off

I walked upstairs and went into the bedroom.

"Hey you ok." I asked

"Yeah." she said

"Do you want to go outside?" I asked

After I said that she jumped out of bed.

"I'll take that as a yes." I laughed and we walked outside
