George POV

"New topic. This time it's something from this year. It shouldn't have been that long since you looked at the topic."
Okay, maybe it would be something what I knew about.
"First question...." The teacher looked around on another piece of paper that he had in his hands.
"How much is the length of all the nerve cords in the body?" Um, what?

Even Clay didn't know the answer right away. He looked thoughtful and apparently didn't like that he didn't know. Carson looked over to me when he saw that Clay wouldn't tell us the answer.
"Wanna guess?", he asked me. I was about to consent, but Clay said "No" in a loud tone.
"So, you know it?", I asked him carefully. He put his finger up to tell me to wait. Carson and I looked at him curious. "Say,...", Clay began a sentence, "Say...fuck. I don't know it."

"Okay, so then let's guess. I would say 100 meters?", Carson suggested.
"Alright, let's say 100 meters then", I agreed.
When the teacher went around again, we told him the 100 meters and he looked surprisingly surprised. And what did that mean now?
Two groups after us also told him their answer and some of the answers were 100 too, so we'd maybe have luck.

"The length of all nerve cords in the body is around 780,000 kilometres", the teacher said. Okay, completely wrong. That's a lot.
"Alright, only one group had that right, wow", he meant and gave this team a point.
"Next question...Where is our heart?"

"On the left side, right?", Carson said.
Then Clay stepped in again. "Well, kinda, actually it's in the middle. However, it tends slightly to the left. Let's just say that."
"Wait, are you sure? I'm pretty sure it's on the left side", I got involved.
Clay looked at me annoyed. Then he took my hand and put in onto his chest. I stopped breathing. I was shocked. I had no idea what was happening here right now.

My hand was on the left side of his chest.
"You can feel my heartbeat now, right?", he asked me. "Euh, yeah...", I said tensed. Then he moved my hand to the middle of his chest. God, it was so muscular. "And now?"
"Ouh, you're right. I feel it more intensely now." It actually was. Slightly, but it was.

Then he let go of my hand and looked away. My hand was shivering. Why was it shivering? That wasn't the first time he touched me....but it was the first time he touched me like...that. His hand was so soft and big. His chest was (like I already said) muscular and strong.

After the 30 seconds everyone told their answers again and we had it right. Thank God that we had Clay.
"Next question"
This actually started to make fun.
"What is the smallest muscle in our body and how big is it?"
I knew that, however I knew it, I just knew it. "It is the stapes muscle in the ear that protects our ears from too loud sound waves. It is 3 millimetres big", I told my group. Clay nodded at me expressionless. Carson started smiling, raised his thumb and said: "You know something. At least more than me." I really liked this guy.

And the answer was right. "Next question" the teachers voice rang out again.
"Why are the testicles hanging between the legs?"
Euh, what?
Clay looked over to Carson and me, slightly embarrassed. I guess that meant he knew the answer but it was quite ridicules or something. "So that....", he started, "so that the sperm remain cool."
"Okay, why the heck in the world do you know that?!", Carson laughed at him and I couldn't suppress a small laugh either.

"We learned that in Sex education!", he defended himself. He tried to stay cool, but I could see that he also wanted to laugh. "Wow, the term 'daddy cool' takes on a whole new meaning", Carson said. That was it. I burst out laughing. I think I even had tears in my eyes from laughing. When I opened them again and looked at the two boys, Carson couldn't even breath because of laughing and Clay just had a huge smile on his face, his eyes shut and his forehead leaned on his hands. He tried so hard to hold back that laugh.

Clay actually wasn't the only one who knew that. Also 4 other groups had this right. We really must have gone through that in lesson.
Carson was still laughing when the next question came. It was a simple question about our blood and even I knew it. The problem was the question that came next.
"How exactly does arousal work in a man?"

For Clay that was nothing. He must have been an absolutely expert at this. (Cough* if you know what I mean ;))
"Before you guys ridiculous ask me again, we learned that too", he noted, "The blood builds up in the erectile tissue, the penis becomes hard and erect. At the same time, the testicles move towards the abdomen and perineum. With this erection, the so-called pleasure droplet can also form."
Carson and I looked at each other again in shock and irritation.
Clay abruptly regretted what he just had said.

Carson started to laugh again while Clay and I were just completely embarrassed. I don't know why, like, it's completely normal. It was just so weird to hear that so open from Clay.
After the 30 seconds, Clay told the teacher the answer again, while Carson had buried his head in his arms laying on the table trying to hold back a loud laugh probably.
Some other groups also said this answer, but...explained differently. Clay really told the teacher exactly the same thing. He was impressed about how much Clay knew and everyone else in the classroom kinda tried to hold back a laugh too.

I mean, it's normal, it's naturally, but it sounded so weird.
"Wow, Clay, that is absolutely correct", the teacher praised him while he just nodded expressionless.
"Gosh, I-...I am so happy-...", Carson tried to say while his laughing and coughing, "...so happy we have you-" Then he burst out laughing again. Clay smiled weakly and awkwardly at him.

The teacher gave everyone who got it right a point before saying "So, looks like it's hard to get Clay's team, huh." Clay's team? Well, yeah, he basically did everything. It's true. It's true, but it kinda hurt. But it's true.
"Well, but it's not over yet. I have more questions for you", he said with a smile.
