Clay POV

"Any wishes for dinner today?", I asked when I came into the living room after showering.
"No, I don't care...", George said who was buried into a pillow on the couch.
"Georgie, you've been in a weird mood since training. What is it that is bothering you?", I asked worried, sitting down next to the couch so he would look me into the eyes.
"Nothing, I'm just tired", he said, pressing the pillow on his face.
"Georgie...", I whispered, stroking his thigh.

Then I sat up on the couch and took the pillow from him. He looked at me expressionless.
"Talk to me", I weakly smiled.
"About what?", he avoided looking into my eyes.
"About what depresses you like that", I slowly leaned my head down to him.
"I'm fine", he said before turning around so he lay on his stomach.
"George", I whispered while I let myself slide onto him slowly and wrapped my arms around his waist.

Then I could hear him mumble something that I couldn't understand, but it was something like 'he's such an asshole' or whatever like that.
"What?", I looked at him.
"Nothing", he buried his face more in the couch.
"Ouh George", I sighed, kissing his head gently.

After a while in this position, George finally turned around again. I lifted myself up slightly to give him space, then lay back on top of him with my chin on his chest and looked up at him. He took my head in his hands and slowly stroked my cheek and back of my head with his fingers while looking at me.
"Would you fight for me?", George finally asked quietly.
"What is that for a question? Of course!", I huffed, "Why are you asking that? That's obvious!"
"Forget it", he leaned his head back again and left his hands on my shoulders.

"George, I'm really worried about you. What's the matter?", I ran my fingers over his cheek before slowly pulling my body up on him.
"I told you I'm fine!", George got slightly loud and pushed me up. He got up and walked towards the stairs and then up. I heard him slam a door upstairs.
I didn't understand....what was so bad? Why wouldn't he tell me about it?

I decided to leave him alone. Whatever the case, since he ran away, it had to mean that he wanted to be alone. I lay down on the couch and turned on the TV to give myself some other thoughts. Suddenly the doorbell rang. I turned off the television and got up.

"Floris? What's up?", I looked confused at the guy who was standing behind the door.
"George accidentally took something from me earlier, I just wanted to get it", he smiled at me.
"Uhm, okay, I'll tell him. Be right back", I said and just turned around to go to George, but Floris stopped me.

"No, I'll get it. I wanted to talk with him about something anyways, so, just tell me where he is."
"I don't know man, he's not feeling really good right now. Let better me talk to him", I yanked my arm away from his grip. Then Floris took a step closer and looked deep into my eyes.
"Clay", he smiled, "It'll be fine." And then he ran his hand on my head on my scales down to my jawline. I quickly tore myself away and turned away.
"Alright, alright, come with me...", I said to stop this here.

I showed him the way to the stairs and then told him which door to take when he was up.
"Thanks buddy", he said, slightly smirking and went upstairs. I stopped at the bottom of the stairs just to be careful.

George POV

I've been in bed for an hour just thinking. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door.
"What do you want?", I yelled, cuddling more into my pillow. Actually it came in handy. I needed Clay's cuddles now.
Then the door opened and I turned my head, but I didn't see Clay standing there, but Floris. I sat up hastily.
"What do you want here?", I said with widened eyes and a slightly loud voice.
"George, it's fine", he said in a calm voice, closing the door behind him, "Everything is just fine."

"What do you want here?!", I repeated.
"George, listen", he smiled at me, coming closer to the bed.
"Leave this room! Leave this house!", I said now louder and pointed to the door.
"George, shhhh", he ran to me and pressed his hand on my mouth, "Do not yell." His smile stayed, he looked a bit like a psychopath.

"So George, I want to offer you a little deal, yeah?", he said while I stared at him with terrified eyes.
"Everything you have to do for that is...", he continued calmly, "breaking up with Clay."
I widened my eyes even more.
"No chance!", I punched his arm away from me and quickly stood up, running to the door.
"George, George, George, ouh George...", Floris laughed bevor running after me. Just before I got to the door, he grabbed my arms and pressed me against the wall.

"Think about it a bit, okay? If you respond to it, nothing will happen to you, I promise", his smile was gone now, "Oh yeah, and if you tell Clay about this, you'll be sorry about that."
I breathed heavily and fast.
"You will never get Clay", I scoffed.
"Ouh, you think so?", he looked at me seriously before letting out a small laugh, "You know, your Clay...do you know what we did when i walked in the door? Do you know what he said to me? You have no chances against me."

I felt sweat running down my face.
"So", he finally let go of me and walked towards the door, "if you don't want something bad to happen, think about it and better choose the right choice." And with that he left the room.
"Oh, wait", his head protruded once more from behind the door, "Better watch out for Clay if you should tell him about this. You don't want something bad to happen to you...or him, right?"
He twitched his eyebrows briefly, then closed the door and disappeared downstairs.

I dropped onto my bed and put my hand on my chest, shaking. I was totally shocked. My heart and breath were racing, I was sweating and my body was no longer listening to me. I felt like getting a panic attack, but then I quickly closed my eyes and tried to breath normally. I breathed slowly and evenly, trying to think of something else. I thought of a meadow of flowers, of Nick, of the sky, of the sea and slowly relaxed.

I had to do something....
