George POV

I couldn't believe Clay actually did this. I would move in with him. With Clay! So that has been his ingenious idea, huh...

I was packing boxes in my room. I didn't have that much, just my clothes, of which the small amount I had was enough for me, my PC und my school stuff.
"You have everything?", Clay looked around the corner to the two boxes.
"Yeah, I think so", I looked around to see if I had forgotten something.
"Then grab one, I take the other one. Put it into my car, we'll get it to your new home", he smiled at me.

We put the boxes in his car and drove it over to him, where he showed me my new room, which by the way was twice the size as my old one, and I unpacked my stuff. I put my clothes in the closet and put my PC on the desk. The room was already furnished with furniture, as if it had been planned for a long time, and it was very nicely decorated.
"How's it going?", Clay came in after half an hour to check on me.
"The room is amazing, thank you so much Clay", I walked towards him and gave him a tight hug.

I looked up to him and he pressed our lips against each other before running his fingers through my hair.
"By the way", Clay pulled away, "May your parents know that we...?", he asked.
"No, please don't tell them. I think they are slightly homophobic and if I'm right I...don't wanna tell them", I said.
"Alright."
"Wait, and what about the different classes?", I asked, still in a hug with him.
"I'm gonna switch to yours", he said.
"What? But what about Nick?"
"We'll see."

Clay was on his way to the school to discuss it with the director when the doorbell rang. I thought it was my parents so I opened. It was Karl. He brought my backpack with him.
"Ouh Karl, thank you. I almost forgot", I let him in.
"No problem", he gave me the bag, "Are you alright? Nick told me what had happened."
"Yeah,...ouh, I have to tell you the good news!", I said excited.
"What good news? Come on, tell me", we sat down on the couch.
"I'm moving in with Clay", I smiled at him.
"What, really? George, that's great for you!"
"And he also will switch to our class. He wants to be with me all the time to 'protect' me", I rolled my eyes, smiling.

"Well, that's cool, but what about Nick?"
"I don't know man, Clay had said we'll see", I shrugged my shoulders.
"Gosh, you are so lucky. It's only been one day and look at you both", he giggled.
"Dude, if you would have told me a few weeks ago that that would happen, I would have never believed you!", I laughed.
"Alright, then I'll go again, Nick and I wanted to meet now", he stood up and walked back to the door.
"Ouh, much fun then", I winked at him.
With a giggle he went over to the door and before opening it, he yelled "Then inform me as soon as possible what's up."
"Sure!" And with that he was gone.

I decided to call my parents and let them know that we could do something now.
"Where do you wanna go?", my mom asked.
"I know a nice park around here. Do you want to go there?", I suggested.
"Sure."
"Come to Clays house in about 10 Minutes, then I'll be ready."
"Alright, see you" Then I hung up.

In the meantime it was a lot warmer outside and I changed. I was still wearing Clay's hoodie and sweatpants, so I switched to a shirt and loose pants (both mine) and then went to the bathroom to freshen up a bit.
Then the doorbell rang.

I took a little walk with my parents to the park I meant and there we sat on a small bench and started talking.
"So, you like Clay?", my dad asked.
"Yeah, I really like him. He became an incredible important friend to me", I lied.
"Is he the guy who interrupted us last time?", my mom wanted to know.
"No, that was Nick, another friend."
"It's nice that you're happy", dad smiled at me.

"Ouh, I am happy. Really happy", I said with the thought about Clay and smiled.
"Ouh, I wanted to ask you both something", I eventually said.
"Yeah, go on."
"So,...", I began carefully, "I have another friend there...and he fell in love with someone, they are already a couple actually...and-"
"Ouh, that's wonderful, I'm happy for your friend", my mom interrupted me.
"Yeah, but the problem is that he is gay. He's in a relationship with another boy and his parents are... kinda homophobic..."
My parents looked at me interested.
"Do you think that he should tell them?", I asked carefully.
"Well", my dad eventually said, "Don't ask me George, in my opinion people shouldn't even be gay. That's against the nature and it's disgusting. I'm happy that you aren't gay. Those people are weird. Imagine fucking your own gender, that's disgusting."

"Clark!", my mom glanced at him, "The last sentence shouldn't have been in front of our son now."
"Yeah, I'm sorry", he said, "But it's true."
"Your dad is right George", mom looked at me, "If I would be the mother of this guy, I wouldn't accept that. Sorry, if you like him, but I'm just honest to you."
"Ouh, okay...", I stared into the emptiness in shock. Fuck.
"Anyways, how long do you know Nick and Clay?", my parents deviated from the topic and continued to ask questions.

At some point I told them I wanted to go home because I wasn't feeling well. That was a lie.
We said goodbye and they went to themselves and I to Clay, in my new home.
When I came in (I already got a key from Clay btw), Clay was sitting on the couch in a sexy position, smirking at me. He spread his arms and beckoned me to him. With a weak smile and giggle I went over to him and sat down on his lap with my face to him and he grabbed my waist.

"Guess who's going to be in a class with you from tomorrow", Clay said excited.
"You and me", I smiled weakly.
"Wrong", he smiled childish, "Me, you, Karl and Nick."
"Ouh, you got Nick too? That's great. I have to tell Karl", I said excited.
"Not necessary. I already told Nick and I guess he's telling Karl."

Then he slowly leaned in for a kiss with a smirk, but stopped when my expression was sad again.
"George, what's the matter?", he asked worried.
"I was right...my parents are homophobic...", I looked down and leaned my head on his shoulder.
"Ouh no...", Clay hugged my tight.
