Chapter 23 Part 1 (Next Shift)

Dawson stormed off into the bathroom. She started to pace. 'I can't believe he said that! Saying I don't love Leslie! Saying I don't think about her!' She thought. She pulled out her cellphone and dialed Brett's number needing to vent. Just as she put the phone up to her ear Casey walked in and she hung up the phone. "I don't want to talk to you right now Matt." Gabby told him. "Listen Gabby I - I didn't mean it I - " Gabby cut him off. "How DARE you?!" Gabby yelled. "Gabby I - " Casey tried again. "No! That was inexcusable! How could you say something like that?!" Gabby said. "Gabby I didn't mean it I - I was just worried! I - " Gabby interrupted again. "Worried?! That's your excuse? That's your excuse for calling me a bad mother? You know... I was in a good mood today! I thought we had a moment yesterday! I thought we were getting back to our old relationship...and then I walk in the locker room and I hear you say that!" Gabby said tears streaming down her face as she screamed. "I can't believe you would - " Gabby stopped. Then she grabbed her stomach. "Oh...ow...ow." She said bending over. Casey rushed to her. "Gabby are you okay?" He asked worriedly. " I - I don't know. I - I think something's wrong." She told him.

Chapter 23 Part 2 (Next Shift)

Gabby kneeled on the ground. "Casey - I - ow." Casey kneeled down next to her. "I'm gonna go get Rafferty and Mills okay? I'll be right back? It's gonna be okay. I'll be right back." He said getting up and running out of the bathroom. "Mills! I need your help! It's Gabby!" Mills stood up right away. "Where is she?" Mills asked. "Bathroom." Casey said breathlessly. "Rafferty! Let's go!" She called. They ran into the bathroom. Gabby was still sitting on the floor. "Gabby!" Mills said kneeling down to her. "What's happening? What's wrong?" Mills asked worried. "I don't know. Just it really hurts in my abdomen." She said. "Okay we're gonna get you in the ambulance and take you to the hospital okay? Everything's gonna be fine."
