Chapter 46 (The Bar/Metal Room)

Chapter 46 Part 1 (The Bar)

Brett got out of her car and put her jacket over her head to protect herself from the rain outside. She started to run towards the bar when she felt something under her foot and heard a crack. She stopped and looked down picking her foot up from the ground. She saw a phone underneath her foot and picked it up planning to take it into the bar just in case someone was looking for it. She clicked on the home button trying to see if she had broken the phone. When the home screen turned on her jaw dropped. And she threw her head back sighing realizing it was Gabby's phone. She ran her hands through her long blonde hair in annoyance that she had just cracked her friend's phone. She placed Gabby's phone in her pocket and walked into the bar. As she stepped into the entrance she craned her neck trying to see all corners of the bar so she could figure out where Trini and Gabby were. After a few minutes of searching she went to go sit in a booth in the corner. Then she got out her phone and dialed Trini's number. She sat there listening to the ring on the other end of the phone and tapping her fingers on the table as she waited for Trini to pick up. She listened to the ring of the phone until she heard Trini's voicemail echo in her ear from the phone. She sat there and waited for the voicemail message to finish before leaving a message. "Hey Trini I found Dawson's phone outside and now I'm waiting at a booth in the corner. Where are you guys? You said you'd be here at 8 o' clock right? Cause it's 9 now and I don't see you guys anywhere."

Robert was walking back and forth in front of Trini and Dawson who were bound to a pole and gagged in the corner of a small metal room. The room had no windows and no doors. At least none that they could see from where they were sitting on the floor. The room had a large fan in the corner that made a very loud noise as it turned. There was nothing in the room besides a small brown table with a large black bag that looked like it was full to brim with items of an unspecific content. Then, placed next to the table that was something that resembled a large blackboard. The blackboard was turned around so the display side was facing one of the walls of the room. Trini's phone was placed on the small brown table opposite the large black duffel bag. Robert was about to open his mouth to say something to both Trini and Dawson when he was interrupted by the sound of Trini's phone ringing.

Chapter 46 Part 2 (Metal Room)

"Wakey wakey." A man said standing in front of Dawson and Trini. Dawson slowly opened her eyes and then she sat up quickly and tried to stand immediately straining against the rope that held her. "It's no use." A man that Dawson didn't recognize said coming out from behind the shadows of the blackboard. He had black hair and piercing blue eyes that Gabby felt were staring into her soul with all the intensity they showed. "We tied you up tight. I'd be very surprised if you were able to get out of the knots we tied. An expression of terror spread across Dawson's face as she realized they were right,she couldn't get herself free. Then she looked to the side of her and saw Trini slumped against the other side of the pole unconscious still. Her eyes widened in fear as she stared at Trini and tried to figure out if she was dead or alive. She tried to move her hands enough to reach Trini's wrist on the other side of the pole but she couldn't reach. So she just called Trini's name. "Trini? TRINI!" She shouted in distress. "You really should be worrying about yourself Miss Dawson." Robert said and his friend chuckled beside him. Dawson whipped her head towards him her eyes flaming with anger. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?" She screamed furiously her voice muffled by the gag. At that point, Robert and his friend bursted out laughing. Dawson struggled once more in her restraints as they laughed her anger boiling higher and higher each passing second they continued to laugh and not answer her question. Then Trini stirred beside starting to wake up. "Trini!" She yelled in relief. Trini sat up and looked around;confused of where she was or what was going on. She pulled at her restraints trying to break herself free. "Wow you two are a tough little bunch aren't you? Maybe you don't even need that little protector of yours." He chuckled. "In fact, maybe he'll come to your rescue now. After all, I only need you until the trial is over. Then I'm done with you. Maybe he'll get to you before then." Robert said looking over at his friend and smiling an all knowing smile. "So since he may get to you quickly, we may as well have some fun now. Robert said walking over to his black duffel bag.
