Chapter 51 Part 1 (The Metal Room)
Dawson was sitting her back pressed up against the pole behind her holding her hands together. She had been able to get her hands untied but she was holding them together to give Robert the illusion that she was still tied up. She knew that if she tried to just get up and run it wouldn't work because one, Robert would most likely catch her and two,she wouldn't be able to take Trini with her. Even if she did manage to escape Robert would probably end up punishing Trini horribly while she was gone and she wouldn't be here to protect her. He could even kill her. So there Dawson sat, waiting for a chance, any chance, that would allow her and sister the opportunity to escape. As she sat there strategizing an escape plan in her head she heard a noise above her. Then she heard some more noises. It sounded like footsteps many many footsteps. Dawson's body tensed in terror of what would come next since the day for punishment and almost arrived. She was terrified of what he might do with any partners. She looked over to her sister to see her reaction to the noise. Trini was staring up at the ceiling shaking in terror. Then,Dawson looked over at Robert planning to study his face to see if she could get a clue as to what was coming. But Robert seemed to be as clueless as to what was happening as she and Trini did. This gave Dawson a tinge of excitement along with a tinge of fear as this could mean they were about to rescued...or it could mean they were about to face someone much worse.
Just then someone busted the door open. Her body almost went limp as relief filled her body as she saw who was behind the door. Voight and Lindsay had used a battering ram to bust the door open and there stood her brother. "CHICAGO PD!" He shouted looking into his sister's eyes. Voight and Lindsay ran over to Robert while Antonio beelined it straight to his sisters. Dawson freed her hands from her ropes and met her brother halfway. When they met in the middle she hugged him, hard. She had never been more relieved to see her brother in her life. He hugged her back just as hard tears starting to fill his eyes as he was relieved that his sister was now safe. He pushed her away from him then and grabbed her on either side of her face and tilted her head so she was looking up at him. "You okay?" He asked. Dawson took a deep breath. "I'm fine." She said nodding her head. He started to pull her in for another hug but she pushed him away. "We should probably untie Trini." She said nodding her head towards their sister. "Oh yeah yeah good point." He said. Then they walked over to untie their sister from the pole.
Chapter 51 Part 2 (Next Shift)
Casey and Dawson were sitting in his truck in front of the firehouse. Casey turned to face Dawson. "You sure you're okay to go into work? Boden did say you could take a few more days off if you wanted. After what happened you deserve it." He said running the back of his hand across Dawson's cheek and rubbing his thumb along the cuts on her face that she had received from Robert while being held captive. Dawson looked at the firehouse and then back at Casey. "I'm fine." Dawson said taking a deep breath. "I'm fine." She said pressing her lips together and nodding her head. "Besides Trini is coming back to work today too and I can let her do that by herself. I have to be there for her." Dawson said. Casey nodded to show her he understood. "Okay. Let's go then." He said getting out of the car. He walked over to her side and opened the door for her and the grabbed onto her hand. Then they started to walk into the firehouse. They heard the pur of a motorcycle pulling up to the firehouse and they turned around. Dawson's eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. "Is that Trini on the back of that motorcycle?" She asked Casey incredulously. Casey raised his eyebrows. "I guess it is." Casey chuckled. "Hmm never pegged her for a motorcycle girl." He said. "I wonder who's driving." Dawson said as they could not see the face of the driver because they were wearing a helmet with a visor. Trini and the mystery driver pulled up next to the curb and Trini got off. Dawson and Casey watched on waiting to see if the mystery driver would reveal themselves. "Ooh-ooh! They're taking off their helmet!" Dawson said excitedly pulling on Casey's arm. The mystery driver pulled their helmet off and beautiful blond hair cascaded down her shoulders. The woman had bright red lips and a very pale complexion and very heavy eyeliner. She tucked her helmet under her arm and looked over at Trini and smiled. Trini had their back to them so they didn't see whether or not she smiled back. Then the mysterious blonde woman said something to Trini that Dawson and Casey couldn't quite make out. Trini nodded her head at whatever the woman had said. Then the woman leaned forward and pulled Trini towards her and kissed her.
