Chapter 26 Part 1 (Home)

Casey got in his car and drove to Brett's Apartment. He sat in his car for awhile trying to get together what he was trying to say. 'This won't work, I can't just tell her I love her...I have to show her.' He thought.
With that he drove away.

"That was weird." Dawson said walking away from the window. "What?" Brett asked. "I think I just saw Casey's car in the parking lot. He sat there for a few minutes and then drove away." Dawson said furrowing her brow. "Really? Are you sure it was Casey?" Brett asked. "I don't know...but I'm pretty sure it was him." She said. "Hmm...that is weird what do you think he was doing?" Brett asked. "I have no idea. But I'm curious." Dawson said.

Casey went to a flower shop and bought Dawson some flowers. As he was checking out the florist said. "Wow big bouquet. Anniversary or screwup?" Casey chuckled. "Screw up. Big screw up." He said. "Yeah we get a lot of those in here." The florist said chuckling.

Casey knocked on Dawson's door. Dawson opened the door...and froze when she saw him. "C-Casey hi...what are you doing here?" Dawson stammered not sure of what to do. "I have something to say...and I would love if you would hear me out." Casey said. "Okay..." Dawson said slightly worried. "I know we have been through some rough times. I know that I've been a jerk lately and you probably hate me right now...but...I want you to know...I love you. I know it took me awhile to get you at first and I've blown my chance many many times since then...but I need you to know how I much I love you. I've loved you ever since the first time I saw you and I will never stop loving you. I want to create the best life for you and Leslie. I want to be around and make sure that happens. I'll be here for you now Gabby and I'm sorry I wasn't here the whole time. I'll regret it for the rest of my life. But I'm here now...and I'll never leave again." Dawson looked at him tears in her eyes and said. "Okay." Then she leaned forward and kissed him.
