Chapter 27 Part 1 (Brett's Apartment)

"So what's in the bag?" Dawson asked while putting Casey's flowers in a vase. Casey smiled. "I think you'll like this. I found this scrapbook thing where you can document the baby's first year in a scrapbook. You know first steps first time she rolled over things like that. Then and I know this is kind of cliché...but I got these little onesies for twelve months. I thought we could take pictures of her each month in these different onesies and put it in the book. "That's adorable! I love that idea!" Gabby said. "Yeah I actually already started it." He said flipping through. "See here's her first ultrasound." He said pointing. Gabby looked at it and smiled. Then they went and sat down on the couch. "So...Matt...we need to talk things out don't you think?" Dawson asked. Casey sighed. "Yeah yeah we do." They talked for a few hours then trying to work everything out.

Chapter 27 Part 2 (Next Shift)

Casey walked into the station. Brett looked at him and smiled. "Morning Casey." She said. Casey smiled back. "Morning Brett." He said. Kelly walked up to Casey. "Hey where were you last night? Did you make up with Dawson?" He asked. Casey smiled. "Yeah. Yeah I did. I didn't come home cause I slept over at Brett's with Dawson last night. At that Kelly raised his eyebrows. "No we didn't do that. I just slept in her bed with her. We wanted to completely resolve our issues before we did that." Casey said laughing.

Casey was sitting in the firehouse talking to Kelly when the alarm rang. TRUCK 81 AMBULANCE 61 SQUAD 3 House fire 1501 Seymour Avenue. Everyone ran off. When they got to the call Casey went into the building. "Fire Department call out!" He shouted into the fire. "Help! Help! We're over here!." Someone yelled from the corner of the firehouse. Casey started to make his way over to where he heard the voices. When he got halfway there the floor collapsed. The ceiling falling in on top of him. He was trapped.
