Chapter 29 (The Hospital/Home)

Chapter 29 Part 1

Brett walked into Dawson's room. Dawson was sitting in her bed holding Leslie. "Hey Dawson." She said. Dawson looked up. "Hey Sylvie." She said. Brett walked over to Dawson's bed and looked down at Leslie. "She's so beautiful." Brett said smiling at Dawson. Dawson looked down at her daughter and smiled widely. "Thank you Brett. Yeah she's so gorgeous isn't she?" Dawson said to Brett. "I can't stop looking at her. I don't even want to look up. All I wanna do is just stare at her face." Dawson said looking down at her daughter. "She's got Casey's eyes." Brett said. "Yeah. I agree they're such a beautiful blue." Dawson said. "She looks a lot like you though." She's got your nose and your mouth."

Antonio walked in then with Eva and Diego. Eva and Diego ran over. "Is this Leslie?" Eva asked. "No this is a loaner." Gabby said laughing. "Yeah it's her." She told them. "What do you think of your new cousin guys?" Antonio asked them. They both smiled. "She's awesome! Can I hold her?" Eva said. A look of worry and reluctance crossed Dawson's face. "Ummm...okay...sure just sit down in that chair first and your father will bring her to you. Be careful and make sure to cradle her head. Have your father help you." Dawson said hesitantly.

Chapter 29 Part 2 (Home)

Dawson had just gotten back from the grocery store and she was taking Leslie out of the car when she saw a familiar car roll by. When the car got close to Gabby it slowed down. Then the car came to a stop in front of her and the window opened to reveal a man with a ski mask sitting there. Gabby shut the door to the car quickly and locked it to keep Leslie safe. The man handed her a piece of paper and then drove away. Dawson stared after the car holding the paper in her hand. She waited until the car rounded the corner before putting the piece of paper in her pocket and turning around and taking Leslie out of the car. Before she walked across the street to the apartment she checked the street one more time then she walked quickly across the street.

When she got inside the apartment she quickly locked the door and then went and sat down on the couch placing Leslie's carrier next to her. Then she took out her cellphone and called Antonio. Antonio picked up the phone. "We have a problem." Gabby said.
