Despite the empty, fake words that proved how they want to keep her healthy and alive, all the things they said were nothing but pure manipulation to her.
If anything, their relationship with her is parasitism—they're leeches of her fame.

Neither of which was correct, so she rolled her eyes, plunging back into the duvet to sleep.
