"Because literally anyone would be so much better at lying than me!" the blonde argued, advancing at the green eyed vampire walking towards his car, right across the lawn.
"Caroline he barely even knows who I am, I doubt he'll trust me any more than he'll trust you and your poor attempts at lying!" The brunette retorted, annoyed that she was being dragged into something she barely had any idea about.
"Yeah but we know you're not an enemy or whatever, right? so he kinda trusts you" the blonde reasoned, desperately trying to convince the brunette.
With a roll of her eyes, Valentina caught up to the advancing baby vampire, mentally cursing herself for agreeing to such a thing.
Not that she was nervous or anything, she just hates getting herself into awkward situations, and right now, she was walking right into one like a mouse with a mousetrap,
"Stefan! hey!" Caroline called out, as the pair finally reached him,
"uhh..hey" Stefan greeted, looking behind Caroline to see an awkward looking Valentina, sending her a small yet genuine smile,
One that Valentina reluctantly returned, feeling a bit out of place, holding onto the strap of her bag tighter.
"Um, we need to talk to you, where are you going?" Caroline asked, now walking side by side with Stefan, Valentina following suite.
"Well more like she needs to to talk to you., I'm honestly here against my own will" She added in, earning a glare from Caroline,
Stefan only dismissed the pair, impatiently questioning Caroline, and Valentina once more, eager to get to his girlfriend,
"Okay well what did you want talk about, because Elena went home sick, and I just want to go check up on her." Stefan said, advancing once again to his car.
Valentina furrowed her eyebrows at this, not recalling Caroline saying anything about the doppelgänger being sick, just that she wasn't in that day,
Keeping her composure, the tribrid decided upon questioning the blonde later.
"ditcher" Caroline joked,panicking, knowing full and well she let Elena have one on one time with a vampire that's only caused havoc since their arrival,
"you know, i'm kinda worried about her" Stefan said, glanceing back at the two "vampires,"
"You know what? of coarse you are, go ahead, we can talk later" Valentina graciously spoke, emerging from behind Caroline,
