"I'll enter first," I muttered when we arrived at the building where Salvia hid my son. Archer handed me a gun as he scanned the place while we're still inside his car.

Why does even abandoned building famous when there's a kidnapping?

"No, I'll come with you. The underbosses and Mirae's already inside."

I blinked at him. They're here? Ganoon ba karami ang narito kaya't kailangan pa sila? Though, I don't mind them helping.

"Narito ang ibang tauhan ni Rozelli. He's helping Salvia." Tila ba nabasa ni Archer ang aking isip.

He handed me an earpiece. Agad ko iyong kinabit at hindi na nagtanong. I know it's connected with Mirae and the other underbosses of Cosmos. Ganoon din ang ginawa ni Archer sa kanya.

The other's already inside. Kaya naman wala na akong narinig na ingay mula sa earpiece.

"Let's make it quick. We just have to distract them then it's done."

I nodded at him. Kanina, sa sobrang bilis ay hindi ko man lang namalayan na natawagan na niya si Mirae upang masabi ang sitwasyon ng aking anak.

I glanced at my wrist watch and saw we only have five minutes. Hindi ganoon kalayo ang abandonadong gusali na ito kaya't agad naming pinuntahan. Nagtagal lang kami dahil ayaw tumulak ni Archer hanggang hindi ako kumakalma.

Our eyes met and I nodded as we went out of the car. Hindi na kami nag-abalang itago pa ang baril.

Archer pushed the door as we entered. Kadiliman ang sumalubong sa amin at agad na nabuhay ang mga ilaw matapos naming makapasok.

My eyes widened as I immediately saw my son in the middle. He's sitting on the chair while his hands were tied. May itim na tela na nakatakip sa ulo ng aking anak. Even without seeing the face of the child who's in the middle, I already know its my son. His voice confirmed it.

"Let me go! My uncle is a lawyer, he'll sue you all!" Napasinghap ako sa narinig mula sa anak.

"Aba't talagang isinama mo pa ang lalaki mo?" I turned to Salvia who's holding a gun while standing beside my son. Dalawang armadong lalaki pa ang malapit sa aking anak. Ang iba ay malayo ngunit nakatutok sa amin ang kanilang mga baril.

"I have no time for your shits, Salvia. Give me my son!" Angil ko.

"Light, Dark, ready, we'll start shooting anytime from now. Disarm Salvia."

I pressed my lips when I heard Mirae's authoritative voice through the earpiece. I didn't even know where they're hiding.

"Mommy?" My son cocked his head after hearing my voice. I saw the movement on his head even there's a black cloth covering it.

"I'm here, Rye. We'll go home," I said to assure him. I felt Archer moved beside me. I glanced at him and he nodded at me. Tila handa siyang bumaril anumang oras.

"After killing my son, you think I would let you leave this building alive?" Mapanuyang sambit niya at matamang bumaling kay Archer bago muling ibinaling sa akin ang tingin. "At nagsama ka pa ng kung sinong lalaki? Iyan ba ang dahilan kaya't ayaw mong pakasalan ang anak ko?"

"I don't want to marry Calvin. That's it." Sorry but I can't understand them. His son is obsessed. He can't just force a woman to marry him. And Salvia, she's Calvin's mother. She should be teaching her son the right thing to do. Pero hindi, eh. She's tolerating his son.

"Because you're a bitch--" nahinto siya sa pagsasalita nang isa isang bumagsak ang mga tauhan niya. There's no blood but they fell on the floor. Archer immediately moved as he shoot the two armed men beside my son while I immediately shoot Salvia's hand. Dahilan para mabitawan niya ang hawak na baril. She uttered a series of curse while groaning because of her wounded hand.
