Beomgyu~

I was skateboarding towards my safe place, when suddenly I noticed a familiar figure sitting near the train tracks.

"Hello, sunshine!" I sat beside Sohyun and patted her head like usual. "What's up?"

"The divorce... it's really taking a mental toll on me. I've been feeling so anxious," she sighed heavily. "I kinda just wanna stop thinking about it."

"Do you wanna learn how to skateboard?" I showed her mine and her eyes lit up.

"I've never tried it, but sure." She nodded.

She placed one of her feet onto the board, but immediately got too scared to put the other. The look on her face is so funny!

"I'll help you." I put one of her hands on my shoulders, while my arm is wrapped behind her back for support.

"Okay, I think I'm starting to get it." Sohyun tried to convince herself even though it was mostly me doing all the work. Her legs are wobbly and her balance is pretty bad, but I kept it to myself.

She looks so cute.

"Should I let go?" I asked and she agreed. It didn't even last a millisecond and she already fell... on me.

We stared at each other for a few seconds, which felt like an eternity since I practically drowned into her eyes.

"You look like you really want to kiss me." She joked around but is completely right.

"Because I do." I straight up replied and she instantly turned bright red.

"Stop joking around like that!" She hit my chest and ran away. Not too far, just near the train tracks where she kicked around the little stones surrounding it.

I walked towards her, spinning her around to give her a gentle peck on the cheek. Sohyun blinked twice as fast as she tried to process what just happened.

"You also gave me a kiss on the cheek that time during lunch!" I pouted.

"And another one today." She gave me another peck on the cheek, but this time it's much closer to my lips. It was my dimple.

"You missed just a few inches," I crouched down a bit so I'm eye-level with her. "But I won't do it today. I want your first kiss with me to be memorable."

"What makes you think I'll give my first kiss to you?" Sohyun crossed her arms.

"The way you got flustered after I gave you a small one. It's obvious that you're also starting to catch feelings for me." I confidently said.

"Also?" She smirked. "You're into me?"

"Maybe I am."

I know Beomgyu's been very nice to me and all that, but I can't help and still be cautious. He's a fuckboy after all, and maybe his true intention towards me aren't all that nice. He's also beyond popular, so I I'm not sure what his real deal is hanging out with me.

"You're thinking too much. Just love me." Beomgyu made me spin towards him, and my eyes grew wide. Can he read my mind?

"I'm scared to love you," I mumbled under my breath. "Attachment is frightening."

"I'm scared too, but I'm willing. I don't know how it feels like to be unconditionally loved by someone. I think that's the part that scares me the most... me loving you too much without being aware that I'm already tormenting you." He put my hand in his, rubbing it together so I feel warm.

"Love me then," I deeply looked into his eyes. "Love me unconditionally. I'll return it as well; it's a two person effort."

"You're talking about love as if it's some type of social experiment." He chuckled.

"Aren't we each other's experiment? What's so wrong with that?" I shrugged.

"What if we end up screwing each other over?" Beomgyu looked down with a sad look in his eyes.

"We can think about that later." I rest my head on his shoulders and just focused on admiring the sunset.

So breathtakingly beautiful.

"Be with me, Sohyun. Allow me to love you unconditionally."
