Nana dialled me and I immediately picked up on the first ring. We did a video call instead, and she's trying to stay quiet since they're staying at a motel right now.
"He was definitely trying a lot more, but I still couldn't seem to feel his sincerity. I'm scared he'll go back to his old self, and I don't want to go through that again if I had the choice to leave now. I want a better future for Hyejin." She explained.
"I totally get that. Although, how would you know if you don't try again? I was in the same position as you a while ago, but I got back with Beomgyu and it became my best decision ever. Maybe keep your distance for a while, but don't leave. Running away will only hurt you in the long run." I gave my honest opinion.
"I love that guy so much. Why'd he have to be such an asshole?" She shook her head.
"Men only think with their balls." I commented and she totally agreed.
"That's why I got pregnant in the first place!" She laughed it off and so did I. "In all honesty... if anything ever happens to me, please often check up on him and Hyejin. I love them both very much."
"Is there anything else bothering you?" I immediately asked Nana. There's definitely something odd about the way she's acting. "Is there someone coming after you?"
"No, I'm fine..." she lowered her voice and quickly looked behind the camera. "I have to go now."
"Don't hang up-" I said, but she already did before I could even finish.
She's not okay.

Beomgyu~
"I think Nana and Hyejin may be in danger. Running away... that doesn't seem like her. We talked earlier, and she definitely wasn't being herself. She was trying so hard to stay quiet and kept looking behind the camera. It's so odd." Sohyun told me.
"Do you know where she could be?" I grew concerned. She apparently mentioned Gwangju earlier, so I called over one of my tech friends and asked them to track down her phone. "It's a two hour train ride if I use the KTX. Can you stay here?"
"I was the last one who talked to her, so I should be there." She gave a good point.
We quickly went to the station and waited for the next KTX to arrive. My friend found her location pretty quick, and we were able to find nice seats on the train.
Sohyun tried to call Nana a few times, but she never picked it up. I got more anxious as time went by.
The tracking is not moving, so I guess she's still at the motel. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, in case that "other person" might still be there.
Once we arrived at Gwangju, we went over to the address given by my friend. A little girl suddenly ran over to us, and I was incredibly shocked to find out it's Hyejin.
"Hyejin, do you know where your mom is? Was there anyone else with you?" I asked but she was shaking.
"Yes, a man. He's scary and yelled at her a lot... he was wearing a leather jacket," she shuddered. "He told me to run, that's why I'm here now."
It must be someone from The Eagles. Most likely the guy Nana was dating before she got pregnant during our first year.
"Take care of Hyejin and call the police. I'm going in there." I instructed Sohyun and she understood right way.
I got the key from Hyejin, so instantly I went in there and tried finding the room number. I got a lot more nervous as I got closer, having that familiar feeling in my chest again... the fear of finding the worst.
I placed the key inside the door handle, turning it until I heard the click. Swallowing the lump in my throat, I entered the room and my eyes grew completely wide.
