I needed to find something pretty but formal to wear for Saturday night. Most of the clothes that I had didn't look appealing to me. Claudia was busy with her assignments and studying for her up-coming tests, so I couldn't ask her to come with me. "I can tell that you're nervous," said Jesse as he leaned against the wall.
"I guess it's that obvious, right?" I responded.
"Yep. Talk to me," he answered as he crossed his arms at his chest.
I sighed at the thought of meeting Ms. Jennifer. "I need to buy something to wear," I confessed.
"I'll accompany you," he said as he grabbed a tray of food, "we'll talk about this after work, yeah?"
I nodded and we continued with our work. Jesse was looking for permanent jobs for waitressing as I couldn't do it alone and Jesse wasn't always at the restaurant to help me out. After work, Jesse and I went directly to the stores for I didn't have any time to waste because I only had a day to prepare for my date.
"I understand why you would be nervous, I would be, too," said Jesse. "So, what are you shopping for exactly?"
"I just want a cute outfit, maybe a dress," I answered.
He nodded as he started looking around for one, I guess. "I have to go back to work next month," he spit out.
I looked up at him. "Oh, that's good, right?"
He didn't respond, rather, he picked out a dress and held it up to get my reaction. "How about this?" he asked.
I took the dress from his hand and carefully analyzed it. "Not bad," I replied.
I picked out 3 more dresses and went to the fitting room.
Fitting Number 1.
Fitting Number 2
Fitting Number 3 (His Pick)
