~Chapter~
Soon after we finish tea. We all set out to the crime scene in White Chapel. We quickly find the alley where the murder had occurred, where a crowd and Scotland Yard had gathered around it. We push our way through the crowd of people and temporarily leave Madam Red and Lau behind to go talk to the detectives.
The one standing watch notices us right away as he looks up from his papers. He smiles our way and says, "sorry kiddos. I'm afraid a crime scene like this is no place for children. Now why don't you to run along home?" He looks back down at his papers, expecting us to leave just like that. Ciel and I exchange a look before I grab his papers and lower them from his hand, getting his attention once more, "sir, we're here to see the body. Mind letting us through?" I ask. His eyes widen in shock, "the body?! Surely you're kidding!" I smile, "Alberline!" Someone interrupts.
Our group look behind the man named Alberline and see the leading detective, Sir Arthur, coming up to us. When he spots us, he huffs, annoyed. I wave his way, "good afternoon Sir Arthur!" I greet. He huffs again, "Well, if it isn't Lord Phantomhive and Lady Goldesbury. This is more troublesome than usual, what are you two doing here together?" He asks, "you know these two sir?" Alberline asks. Sir Arthur doesn't answer him.
Ciel steps next to me to speak up, "we're here to help, Sir Arthur. It seems your investigation is, dragging, a bit." Ciel then pulls the letter we both received from the Queen out of his pocket, "you know who sent us of course, you understand." He says with a smile. I snatch the papers out of Alberlines hands so Ciel and I could read over them. Ciel hums as we read it over, "it seems you haven't found any major clues yet." I raise a brow, an amused smile on my face, "are these, doodles?" Ciel glances to where I was pointing, his eye brows raise, "oh?" Sir Arthur snatches the paper out of my hands, "don't be ridiculous." He scoffs. I snort, "it's no wonder the queen had asked both of her guards of the underworld to help. Scotland Yard is completely useless for this" Sir Arthur frowns, "you watch your tongue. The Scotland Yard is more than capable of handling this case I assure you! There isn't a need for you two to meddle in the investigation." Ciel and I glance at each other, he just nods, "very well then. Shall we take our leave then, Lady Goldesbury?" I nod, "we shall, thank you for your time Sir Arthur, Alberline" I wave. Alberline gives me a small wave in return while Sir Arthur just clicks his tongue, turning on his heel and walking back towards the alley.
Irene and Sebastian follow behind us as we walk back to Madam Red, her butler Grell, and Lau. When they see us coming, they all turn to walk with us, "now what dear?" Madam Red asks Ciel, "now, we go see someone who may be useful." He states, "oh? Who could that be?" I ask, "my lord! You don't mean?" Lau gasps. Ciel nods, "indeed."

Ciel quickly takes us to our next destination, which was a funeral parlor called The Undertaker.
"So, where are we?" Lau asks, "YOU DONT KNOW?!" Madam Red shouts, "then what was that all about?!"
I hit a fist into my hand, "oh I see! Does the person who runs the funeral home take in the bodies from the murders?" I ask Ciel, he nods, "he should be. He's the only one for miles around, oddly enough." I nod, "huh. Not a job a lot of people want to do I suppose."
Sebastian walks over to the front door and opens it for us. We all start to pile into the parlor, "this funeral parlor is run by an acquaintance of my lords" Sebastian explains.
"Such a gentleman~" Irene says to Sebastian with a smile, he smiles back as he closes the door behind her, "my dear Irene, this is a very simple task I do as a butler. I could hardly call this being a gentleman" she places his hand on his arm, rubbing it up and down, "I think you playing butler is pretty cute though, you're like an obedient dog, Sebastian" he chuckles, "glad you find this amusing" she shrugs, "more so, I think you look sexy doing it-"
"AHEM! Irene!" I whisper yell to her. She pulls her arm away from Sebastian and smiles my way, "apologies my lady, I got rather carried away." I huff, "Keep the PDA to a minimum please. You two are still servants of nobles, anything you say or do gets put on us and our image" she laughs lightly, "you're right, again my apologies. I'll do this kind of thing in a more, private area next time" I frown, I still didn't trust her word on that. She might be my maid but she is still a demon. Irene tilts her head, "mistress, I don't lie" she assures me. I scratch my head and sigh, "I know you don't. I ordered you not to. But I'm still skeptical." Irene laughs again.
