A demons contract. Something that cannot be broken unless it's been completed upon agreement.
Once something is wished and agreed upon, that demon is there to serve as long as you need, until that wish has been fulfilled, and your payment is due.

~Chapter~
I examine the hope Diamond in my office, twirling it around on my finger.
'I should show Ciel this. I know I could've told him about it last night when I found it, he's only a phone call away.'
I frown.
'But...I didn't really want to bother him, we had a long day yesterday and it was already late.'
I sigh, leaning back in my chair.
'I'll call Sebastian and tell him I'll be stopping by today.'

"And you didn't tell me you found this thing in the manors storage room why my lady?" Irene asks, folding her arms. I shrug, "in all honesty, I was exhausted from yesterdays events and wanted to forget about it until today." Irene pinches the bridge of her nose, "Mistress...you do realize that this is part of a case on missing girls? You remember inspector Alberline saying that the other day do you not? So it would've been nice to know you found the ring. I would've had an idea on what caused your disappearance had it had happened." I roll my eyes, "well I'm telling you now. Besides, with you beside me, even if this ring is the cause of the disappearances. You wouldn't allow that to happen to me." Irene huffs, "of course, but still, I don't feel very happy that you didn't tell me. You'll become reckless with that way of thinking my lady." I give Irene a soft smile, "well, then I apologize."
Irene and I were already on our way to Ciels mansion while having this conversation. After calling Sebastian earlier that morning that I had something to discuss about with his master, we set off to meet him.
The carriage stops abruptly, and Leonardo calls from out of the carriage, "mistress! We're here!" Irene glances back at me, "I really do mean it mistress. I want you to tell me right away the next time something this important shows up. I'm just trying to do my job in protecting you, and sometimes you make that difficult for me to do." She says as she steps out the carriage, I chuckle as she helps me down, "I appreciate the concern Irene, I do, but I'm telling you about it now. So is it really that big of a deal?" Irene says nothing else to combat with me.
Irene looks up at Leo, "you can head back Leonardo. We'll only be about two hours, so come pick us back up when those two hours are up." Leonardo nods, "will do, see you later then."
As Leonardo starts driving the carriage off, I glance over to my left and see another carriage already parked near by. I raise a brow, "who-" the doors of Ciels mansion opens, and out runs Lady Elizabeth, Ciels fiancé, what I'm guessing is her maid.
Elizabeth looked panicked and embarrassed as she shuts the doors loudly behind her. She sighs in relief before covering her face with her hands, "I can't believe that I have to go find ANOTHER present for him...what am I going to do.." she mutters sadly. Her maid pats her comfortingly on the shoulder before I decided to interrupt them, "Lady Elizabeth?" I call. The two women glance my way as Irene and I approached them. Elizabeth raises a brow, "yes? Who are you?" She asks. I freeze upon hearing that.
