A demons contract. Something that cannot be broken unless it's been completed upon agreement.
Once something is wished and agreed upon, that demon is there to serve as long as you need, until that wish has been fulfilled, and your payment is due.

~Chapter~
The funeral finally rolls around. By that time my wound had mostly healed, I just felt sore whenever someone touched it directly. But other than that, I was able to function normally to attend.
Ciel and I step out of the carriage with Irene's help. Sebastian then hands Ciel a red dress, then allows him to go ahead on his own without us. I fold my arms as I watch Ciel open the doors to the church, and disrupt the ceremony, "he'll be okay, right?" I ask out loud. Sebastian nods, "my master is stronger than you think. He'll be just fine" I hum, "I hope so."
Even from outside, I could hear the whispers of the group of people gathered inside, "is that the Phantomhive boy?" "With a scarlet dress?" "How inappropriate." "Not so. Think about how much she loved the color red" Ciel stands next to Madam Reds coffin before draping the red dress over her. He then props himself onto the side of the coffin, a soft smile on his face, "white flowers and plain dresses didn't suit you in life, and they don't now." He whispers to her. Ciel picks the rose from his front jacket pocket, and places it in Madam Reds hair, "you belong in red. The color of passion. The color of spider lilies." Ciel, once placing the rose in her hair, leans down and places his forehead onto hers, "farewell. Aunt Anne."
A hurst suddenly pulls up behind us. We all turn around just as we see Undertaker step out, he grins at us as he motions to the rose petals in the back of the hurst, filling the entire inside, "well? Help me open this" he starts to lift the glass from the side, Irene being the closest grabs hold too, and helps lift it up. The roses immediately fly out and go with the wind current into the chapel, petals swirl around inside, creating a beautiful scene of red. My eyes widen as I watch them fall around the outside and inside the chapel, "how pretty" I mutter softly.
Farewell Madam Red. I hope you're with your loved ones again.

Ciel and I gather again inside one of the chapels hallways to say goodbye, as the season was now at its end, and so was this case.
"Ciel." "Rosalie." I smile, "it was very nice to meet you, and to work with you. Despite everything, I'd say the case was a success, we work well with each other" he hums, "indeed we do." He extends a hand to me, "I hope one day, we can meet up once more. Perhaps maybe with another case?" I take his hand and give a small smile, "maybe we can just start with afternoon tea? Something not stressful?" Ciel nods, "I suppose so." We drop hands. I clasp my hands together and sigh, "well, until we meet again, Lord Phantomhive" Ciel gives a sad smile, "goodbye for now, Lady Goldesbury."
Irene kisses Sebastian on the cheek before giving him a small wave, "I'll see you later." Sebastian gives a small wave back, "till we meet again my love." With those goodbyes, Irene and I turn on our heels, and walk down the hall that lead towards the exit of the chapel, leaving Ciel and Sebastian behind for the next little while.
