A demons contract. Something that cannot be broken unless it's been completed upon agreement.
Once something is wished and agreed upon, that demon is there to serve as long as you need, until that wish has been fulfilled, and your payment is due.

After last nights events we head back to the Barrymore castle to sleep. Setting last nights questions aside for the next day.
When tomorrow did arrive, Sebastian suggested we all finally take a couple of hours to relax, as we were still on holiday. It took Ciel and I a bit of convincing before we finally gave in. As we wanted to just work on exposing the real demon hound before we had a break, but Sebastian was right, we were on vacation, and we did need to relax.
Irene was still gone off investigating lord Barrymore some more, of course she was there when I fell asleep and woke up this morning, but after getting me to the lake by the village she disappeared once more.

Bard and Finny bolt into the lake screaming happily. I follow behind them but never really get too deep into the water, "ah! I haven't been to a proper swimming hole in ages! The waters so nice and warm!" Bard says, slicking his hair back with the water. Finny looks over at me with a smile, "aren't you coming in any deeper lady Goldesbury? You're only in stomach high" I shake my head, "I'm fine thank you. I don't feel like getting my hair wet"
'Actually my contract seal is covered in makeup, I don't want to risk it getting exposed'
Finny gives me a thumbs up, "that's okay! We won't splash you then" I nod, "thank you."
Finny looks over to a changing tent where Mey-Rin was, "aren't you coming in too Mey-Rin?!" Finny shouts for her. I look to the changing tent to see Mey-Rin poke her head out from the curtains, her face flushed red, "no, I can't go out there, it's too embarrassing!" I shake my head and smile as I start to walk out or the water and over to the tent, "come on now! You don't get a chance to do this everyday!" Bard yells. Mey-Rin sulks and pulls her head back into the tent. I laugh lightly, "Mey-Rin, what do you find embarrassing?" I ask, "oh it's my swimsuit lady Goldesbury," she says from inside, "I feel like it doesn't look good on me.." I arch my brows back as I start to push the tent curtains away, "Mey-Rin you're a gorgeous woman, I'm sure the swimsuit suits you nicely" I peek inside seeing Mey-Rin look at me with wide eyes, pink dusting her cheeks, "really? You think I'm gorgeous?" I hum, "you are. And just as I guessed, the swimsuit suits you well Mey-Rin! You should come out here and show it off" she scratches her cheek, "should I really?" I nod, "yes, and the boys want to spend time with you, you shouldn't deny them that time right?" Mey-Rin nods, "I suppose.." I extend a hand out to her, "great! Now come enjoy the vacation." Mey-Rin smiles as she takes my hand. I pull her out of the tent and wave a hand to the Phantomhive servants, "look who finally decided to join us!" Bard and Finny snap their heads in our direction, their eyes widening seeing Mey-Rins new outfit. Mey-Rin covers her face with her free hand, "lady Goldesbury this is absolutely humiliating!" I laugh lightly, "you're okay Mey-Rin" "Yeah! Mey-Rin you look lovely" Finny says coming up to us, Bard following behind nodding. Mey-Rin looks up at them with wide eyes, "you aren't just saying that? Really?" Bard gives her a thumbs up, "Finnys right! And I bet you'll look even better without the glasses!" Bard reaches for Mey-Rins glasses, she dodges and starts running towards the water, "no no no no! The master gave them to me!" She shouts as she splashes the boys. I laugh lightly at their energy before looking over at Ciel.
