Early morning tears fall,
I'm just so sick of it all,
This seemingly endless cycle.
8 months of quarantine,
Still staring at computer screens,
And my family's annoying me.
Phones echoing loudly,
I'm asked questions repeatedly,
Quit distracting me!
Momma's out on dates,
Got me staying at Grandma's house late,
Ugh, I think I need a break.
Now I'm on the kitchen floor,
Tears flowing, more and more,
Wondering why life's such a bore.
I've been zapped of all my energy,
From schoolwork and my family,
Then I realized--
I made no time for me.
