Stuck @ Home

Hours pass as I stare,
At the ceiling,
Contemplating this crisis.
I'm stuck at home.

Chaos blooms outside,
Forcing me to remain,
Inside, alone.
I'm stuck at home.

I'm bored beyond repair,
'Til a doorbell rings.
I get up with nowhere to go,
I'm stuck at home.

I open my door,
Sky blue paper at my feet.
Eyes meet with my neighbor,
She's stuck at home, too.

Separated by six feet,
I open her note.
It says,
"Were all stuck at home.

. . . But we'll get through this."
