Dear Diary,
Hey. I told mama and daddy about what Amy told me and they said we would leave tonight with everyone who will risk their lives to leave. I told mama and daddy they would have to leave without me because I finally found how I belong here and I finally have a friend and I will not leave her even if it means that I have to stay a slave for the rest of my life. Mama and daddy are furious with me because I will not go with them and they don’t want to force me to anywhere I don’t want to go. I know that Amy really wants me to go with them but in one way I finally found a place where I think I finally belong and they have to understand that I don’t want to leave it. Well today has been a long day so I better go to bed. Write tomorrow. Bye!
