Hey everyone you go I hope you all enjoy, please make sure to comment they really do make my day.
_______________"It's nice to meet you all, so Jane said something about a tour?" I wasn't really sure where to take the conversation, until I remembered how Jane said she'd take me on a tour around the castle, after meeting the guard.
"Oh of course Ana," Jane seemed to have just remembered about the tour, with the way she responded.
"where would you like to see first, Ana?" Heidi then asked me, but I wasn't sure how to answer, I didn't really know what there was to look at, though I'm sure there's an awful lot of history in this castle, which I'd love to learn about, so maybe we could start with that."I'm sure this place is filled with history, sooo maybe we could start with that?" I questioned which caused Jane to liven up slightly, which excited me, perhaps we have something else in common.
"That sounds perfect, Ana, if it's history you want to hear about I suggest we start with some of the painting halls and then go from there," That sounded amazing to me. I've already seen some of the paintings from when I first walked through the halls, and they were breathtaking, and it would be amazing to learn the many stories behind all those art pieces.
"Okay Jane lead the way," I gestured to my side where the door was, telling her to go first. Jane was heading for the door, before Demetri had beaten her to it. Opening the door for all of us as we made our ways out of the room.
When I passed through the door way Demetri bowed slightly, "M'lady" I looked down to him and smiled in amusement at his antics, "Thanks Victorian boy." Once we were out into the corridor Jane was by my side taking claim of my hand and holding it in hers, even though it was such a simple gesture and something friends would normally do, my cheeks I could tell had still turned a slight pink.
"To the painting halls!" Felix and Demetri exclaimed as they sent their pointer fingers into the air, for what I suppose to be an extra bit of dramatic flair. Though Jane didn't seem all to impressed by the silliness, in response she rolled her beautiful red eyes at them.
We began to walk down the 'oh' so familiar corridors, with Jane on my right, our hands still interlocked, and Heidi to my left though she stayed at about an arms length, which I know for a fact is Jane's doing, because when Heidi tried walking next to me to chat, Jane sent her a death glare, making her move slightly over in the other direction.
We had been walking in silence for a little bit and I was ready to hear someones voice, even if it was my own. "Hey Heidi, I was meaning to say that I love your dress, it's very stylish," Heidi's face lightened when I commented on her outfit, she seemed to be rather happy by my statement.
"Hey what about mine, you didn't complement what I'm wearing Ana," Jane's face now held a slight pout, but mostly annoyance though it seemed slightly playful."That's because you always wear a cloak and black dress Jane, not very exciting," Demetri told Jane as he, Felix and Alec started to laugh, well more Demetri and Felix, Alec was only chuckling, but Jane was very much unamused by his blatant comment on her outfit.
"OI watch it Demetri, it's not like you dress any better!" Jane growled at Victorian boy, yes I know I keep calling him that but the names kind of sticked. "And anyway I don't always wear black, well not all the time," Jane was trying to prove Demetri wrong, and I'm sure she's right, especially if the clothes she's been lending me are anything to go off of. I think Jane's got lovely dress sense.
"Anyway, to settle the matter, I think Jane has a perfect dress sense, Demetri, Felix, Alec" Alec interrupted me by making the noise you make when you didn't say anything, whilst he placed his hand to his chest in mock offence. "Plus you boys, except Alec dress like you got your clothes from the charity shop or something." I told them all, and they seemed about ready to argue, before Heidi intercepted.
"Well Ana I think you like nice to," Heidi looked at me with a smile and I could feel Jane's cold hand tighten it's grip around my hand. "Aw thanks Heidi, these are actually Jane's she's letting me borrow them," Heidi's face dropped when I told her, and her mouth was open agape.
"WHAT!" Heidi all but screamed at me, "You have gone shopping for your own clothes yet?" She asked me as she continuously blinked her eye's confused. "No not yet," I responded quietly not sure of her reaction.
"OH great here we go," Jane started "Ana quickly I'd run if I were you, before you get dragged to the shops against your will," Jane whispered in my ear and her voice actually sounded slightly worried, and judging by her face she was being serious. So before Heidi could grab my arm, I threw myself behind Jane using her as a shield of sorts. "Jane protect me," I told in a 'fake' scared voice, causing not only Jane to laugh but the guys to, whilst Heidi just looked hurt.
"Are you scared Any?" Jane asked me in a slight baby tone, with a funny smile, as she looked over her shoulder to face me, "Yes, I don't want to go shopping," I told her and her only response was to pull me gently to in front of her.
"Why don't we continue with the tour, we've not even talked about one thing yet,' Jane suggested and I jumped at the chance to escape going shopping, though Heidi didn't look all to happy.
"Oh ye sure," I told her almost forgetting that we were on a tour for a moment, and so we continued making our way to where ever it was we were headed.
"And here we are," Alec gestured to all the paintings that hung on the walls. I started to look around at them all, they were all so beautiful and old. "They're stunning," I breathed out quietly to myself, "Yes they are aren't they," Jane then said in an equally as silent voice as myself, whilst she looked at the paintings with.
I looked at all the artwork for what felt like forever but in the best way, Jane, Alec, Felix, Demetri and Heidi, telling me something about a specific piece when I had asked. They all had such fascinating stories, the paintings that is, but I'm sure the guys have interesting stories of themselves.
Me and Jane were currently standing at a painting of some old column ruins, as she pointed out some little details that were hidden within the painting.
As she continued to speak her voice started to sound like little chimes, that were so soothing and suddenly I felt completely detached from reality, as I rested my head on Jane's shoulder and lightly closed my eyes for a moment, and when I opened them I smiled up at Jane.
"Hello flower," She looked at me with a smile as equally as gentle and her voice soft. "Hello Janey," I whispered lightly, and I hadn't even picked up on how easily I said her nickname, the word tasted so foreign, yet so right at the same time, and I didn't even care all that much.
