By this point I felt my legs growing weak and my breathing was ragged and irregular, my vision was blurring and it felt as if I was having the worst panic attack ever, this couldn't be happening, what's going on? Tears started to fall freely from my face and I didn't even want to try and hide them at this point, I didn't have the strength to do so "I just want to go home," I knew I had said it out loud, and I couldn't care less it wasn't like anyone was going to hear me and even if they did I couldn't be bothered. I could barely keep myself standing so trying to stop myself from crying and making my sorrows known didn't even cross my mind as something to not do.
I could only juts recall what happened, as soon as those words left my mouth, Jane's hold on my shoulder weakened and my head turned to face her's , I looked straight into her ruby eyes and could almost see the slight glisten of tears forming behind her eye lids, it seemed as if she was sad, but I didn't know why, why would she care if I was having a panic attack? she doesn't even know me, but before I could dwell on the question, I was being picked up and not by Jane, somehow I knew I had moved, only by the draft I had felt, I moved my head so I was looking up and the next thing I saw was the kind face of the dark haired Queen, her eyes looked at mine and I could just about make out that hers seemed to be filled with something that look almost like, love, and concern, wait why would this woman look at me in concern she doesn't know me and I'm pretty positive that I don't know her.
I looked out to the rest of the room and it had seemed that in my dazed state I hadn't heard a conversation take place because from the looks of things, the fighting had stopped and Alice started to be taking wary steps towards the Queen in blue, with her hand extended towards her.
As soon as Alice's hand was in grasping reach The golden blonde took it into her own hands and everything went silent and everyone seemed to freeze on the spot, some with fear still evident in there faces and others in expectation and anticipation, and I was currently being cradled by a Queen, a complete stranger yet who's arms I felt something of comfort in, I didn't even try and fight her hold because I knew it would be of no use and if I'm being honest it felt as if she was calming my racing heart.
No One's POV,
There was a moments quiet as Sulpicia read Alice's mind and it seemed as if everyone was holding their breath, (even though 98% of the people in the room didn't need to breathe) then suddenly Sulpicia's deep red eyes opened. "How enchanting, what a wonder to see something that has not yet passed," Her voice almost sounded mystified by what she had seen in Alice's vision. Sulpicia released Alice's hand and turned to face her fellow mates and queen's and immediately after looking over at Didyme, Sulpicia froze in her tracks.
Athenodora Saw how her golden mate had frozen in the midst of walking towards us and she started to follow where Sulpicia's gaze had landed to her kind Queen and just as Sulpicia had she stood still as if she was stuck in her current stance and in sync both Queens took an unnecessary gasp of breath and both their faces turned to an expression of pure joy and shock.
Both of them had seen the small human girl that was curled up in Didyme's lap and how her head turned to look at them both as all the noise had momentarily paused. Her blue eyes locked with the two Queens and they glistened with tears that had stopped flowing only moments ago.
Didyme's POV,
Ah it seems that both of my mates have seen the beautiful and delicate human girl that I am currently cradling in my arms and I must say their faces right now are priceless, but in the best way possible, their faces clearly showed joy and happiness and clearly they're feeling everything I've been feeling for the past five minutes that I've had this sweet angel in my arms.
Immediately Sulpicia removed her gaze from the both of us and in one swift movement, faced the Cullens and clasped her hands together in a clap and then exclaimed, "The three of you are free to go, but I would like to assure you that you must follow up on your promise and have it done, Very Soon!" Sulpicia exclaimed to the small disheveled group and Athenodora followed up in a silent but deadly tone, "The Volturi do not give second chances, see to it that it's done."
"We thank you for your visit and we hope to see Bella soon as one of us, now go Heidi will be here soon," I stated and the two Cullens and their human girl quickly left escorted out by Demetri and the doors were closed behind them. Now all that were left in the room asides from me and my amazing mates were the rest of the elite guard.
"I would like everyone out of this room in three seconds or else there will be consequences, Three, Two, One," Sulpicia started, but really she was doing it in more of a playing way, she new all of the guard would do exactly what she said, and with her starting to speak the room was almost cleared. But when she reached the last number, Jane had not yet budged and was still standing in her usually designated spot as my Athenodora's guard.
"Jane?" Athenodora asked in question of why the young in appearance but in actuality old vampire, was still present in the throne room when it was made clear that we would like to be left alone. Jane started to walk in a slow pace towards the centre off the room at the bottom of the steps with her hand outstretched, clearly she wanted Sulpicia to read her thoughts.
