Chapter 11: new/old fans

"That girl that waved at me," Jc began "She met me earlier and told me that I..." he paused.

"I helped her..." he said. I raised a brow "Please elaborate." I said "She said she's had a rough past... She was bullied everyday, she said she was gonna run away one day until she came across my video... and she said everything worked out better for her."

Jc had a tear and I wiped it away. "Jc... that's the thing about this job..." I said lifting his chin so he would look at me. "We help people in an indirect way that we forget there are real people on the end of that screen."

I began to get teary eyed. "but no matter how long you've been a YouTuber whether it be 2 years or 20 you'll never get over that feeling." Jc smiled.

"Ladies and gentlemen help me welcome Kian Lawley!" The announcer began to announce us. "Time to go." kian said running up the stairs as the crowd cheered.

"Ready champ?" I asked patting his back. "always." he responded
"Andrea Russet!" Andrea ran out and the crowd cheered. "Jc Caylen!" Before Jc went out there he hugged me "whoa." I said "thank you." I smile and he ran out the crowd cheering.

I cracked my knuckles "Nally Mendez!" I ran out and all I saw were people, cell phone camera, flashes, I even saw full grown adults out there.

I smiled and waved. Jc put his arm around me and said "You ready?" I looked up and said "for what?" The crowd got quiet as the announcer came on and said "And the winner for our 100,000 visitor is!" He opened up an envelope and said "Ethan Truman!" The crowd cheered and us four clapped.

A tall, dirty blonde guy came on the stage with the biggest smile. He looked at me and turned red. He stood by the announcer and said "So Ethan which YouTuber of your choice would you like to spend a day with?"

He turned to us and said "I'm a big fab of everyone one of you, you're all funny and inspirational and amazing people." we all blushed.

"But I'll have to pick Nally. Nally was the first YouTuber I met. And being able to spend a whole day with her would be a dream come true." I was a bit shocked.

The crowd cheered and he gave me a hug. His cologne was familiar. In a strange way. "Alright Ethan well we will meet up with you after the show, for now enjoy." said the announcer and he went backstage.

Jc and Kian made the crowd laugh by making fun of each other as Andrea and I began to join in and we did some covers, improve and so on.

We were all tired afterwards but still smiling. I had to meet up with the announcer and Ethan now to see when him and I can hand out.

Jc kian and Andrea were packing up their stuff and pulling the car around.

"Hello Nally." Said the announcer "So I know you must be tired after today, plus half of the day is already over but when you do you think you could meet up with Ethan?" He asked.

"Well I'm good any day. I'm in town til next week." Ethan stated. "Well I could do tomorrow or Friday." I said. "I can do tomorrow." Ethan smiled.

I smiled back "great, and again congratulations on winning." I patted his back and his whole face turned red.

"I know this may seem weird but can I hug you?" He asked I laughed and opened my arms. He wrapped his arms around me and I gave him a tight squeeze.

He seems like a sweet guy. "well I'll see you tomorrow okay?" I said "Ya um well could you meet me at the Branton hotel?" he smiled. I nodded and I left.

I walked to the car and Jc drove to the hotel.
