Chapter 34: phone calls and tears

I though deep back in my mind, "Okay the code was..." I pressed my finger against the bright buttons. 204010. The door unlocked and I looked around to make sure no one saw.

I looked in and saw boxes with They had one with my name, Vanessa's name, and Terry's name.

I reached over and grabbed Vanessa. I pulled out a small purse, a flip phone, 20 bucks, and a photo.

It was a black and white photo. I turned it around march 18, 2009. I turned it back around and saw it was her and a guy. It was a simple 'look at the camera and smile' picture.

I saw a few more and saw the same guy and her. One with kissing, the other he was looking deep in her eyes, she had about 20 pictures.

All of them from 2009-2013 the last one was just her, alone in tears. I placed the photos back. "Maybe that's way she treats Danny like a God... She doesn't wanna lose another man..." I mumbled to myself.

I grabbed Terry's box. It was a flowery purse, I found a clear phone case, nude lipstick and an empty notebook.

I raised a brow then remembered about her notepad I put in my shirt. I pulled it out and read the first few papers.

"Danny's list of deeds?" I read aloud. It was just a of bunch of things Danny told her to write down.

I flipped further back and found drawings, poetry, and dreams. Terry's lived here so long she's manifested her ideas to paper.

I placed the boxes back and grabbed mine. My purse, dress, heels, and money all there. "damn it my phone isn't here..." I mumbled.

I placed my box back and ran to the main phone. I dialed Ally's number, it rang a few times. No answer. I dialed Ryans number. It rang a few times, no answer. "What the?" I shook my head and dialed Kian's number. It rang three times and there was an answer.

"Hello?" I was Ally. "Ally Ally oh my glob im so happy to hear your voice!" I had tears. "Nally! Oh my glob!" Ally sounded like she was crying. "Listen I- I need you and the others to listen up." I said.

"You're on speaker." Ally stated. I ran up to the door and peeked through it. "Okay, I'm on the street of Janice Avenue, and Yearling Drive." it was silent and I shut the door.

"Ally?" I said. I heard mumbling. "Nally, Kian says that not in LA..." It felt like everything was coming down on me.

"What?! Where am I?!" I screamed. "Calm down, look Kian said it's just a city over, in Stockton..." I stumbled down and sat on the couch.

"Okay, look that guy Danny came and is making live here with him, if I break any rules he'll lock me in his basement!" I heard gasps.

"Nally! Don't tell me he put his hands on you!" Yelled Kian. "Not exactly, Vanessa threw freezing water on me, and he pulled me down on the floor when I didn't comply with his demands..."

"Look Nally just tell us what you want us to do..." Andrea said. "Look I will call you guys when I'm about to leave, when I think it's safe and you guys go to the edge of the city and meet me there, we'll have to damage his car in some way so he doesn't know where I went." I heard another gasp.

"I got a friend who works at a car place, they take about parts and melt them down to make new ones. I can give him a call." Jc insisted. "Thanks, look I gotta go, I'll talk to you guys later. And please don't call the cops... this guy has connections... I know he does." I said

"Okay Nally..." said Ryan. "We miss you." said Ethan. "We love you." said Ally. "I miss you guys so much... there's nothing I wouldn't do to get back." I had tears running down my cheeks.

"Nally..." said Kian "Be safe..." he finished. "I will... I have to go... I hear a car coming..." I stated. "Bye, we love you!" They all said in unison.

I hung up and wiped my tears. I placed the phone back and put on a movie. I heard the door open.

Danny seemed angry. "What's going on?" I asked. Vanessa grabbed my arms and placed them behind my back. "I'm sorry..." She whispered. Terry had tears and made a fist.

"I'm so sorry Nally..." I looked to her and she punched me out cold. I don't remember what happened next.

*Ryans POV*

I paced around the phone glancing at his every so often. I couldn't sit still. Ally was sitting on the couch and staring down at the floor in shock.

Andrea was snuggled up in Kian's chest trying to his tears as kian held her close. He shut his eyes tight to prevent tears but that was no use the tears fell anyway.

Ethan was still on the computer finding stuff and Jc was in the bathroom throwing up. Nervous stomach.

I walked over to comfort Ally. I put an around her and she looked up at me. "Ryan..." her lip quivered and tears reached her cheeks.

"Don't Ally." I pulled her close to me and wrapped my arms around her and she cried into my shoulder. I was about to cry as well. "What if she never calls back? What if we never see her again! I can't live without my best friend... I just can't!" She said.

"Don't talk like that! Nally is smart and strong... She'll find a way out I promise..." tears kept falling from her face. "Ally, you're just as strong. You need to be strong right now, for Nally, for yourself."

She didn't say anything but squeezed me tighter. I hated seeing her like this. Ally isn't much of a crier so seeing her like this was like putting a knife in my back.

I held her until she cried herself to sleep. I rested her on the couch and placed a blanket over her. She needed this rest, she hadn't slept in days.

I still can't believe she's been gone for a whole 4 days. Everyone else fell asleep. But I went out and sat on the balcony. "Nally... we'll find you... I promise..." I said and shoved my face into my hands as tears ran down.
