Chapter 37: hospital visits and smiles

*Ryans POV*

I drove for 3 hours and a half and I bet this was the best nap these guys ever got.

Ally is a very protective person so it's normal for her to flip out if something goes wrong with family or friends.

As soon as I parked the car I took a deep breath. I then said "Guys were here." they all sprung up and ran to the entrance me trailing behind.

We ran to the front desk. "Were the emergency contact of Nally." Ally stated. "Oh yes. She's resting now but if you'd like to wait here until she comes to or go to a hotel..." The woman said.

"We'll wait..." Andrea said "Are you friends or family?" She asked and pulled out a clipboard. "Family." Jc said before any of us.

"Okay. You will be alerted soon." she smiled and went to check on a patient.

We all sat down worried. About an hour went by until a doctor came out. "Whose here for Nally?" We all stood up and two other girls from across the room as well.

"She's doing well. She is waking up so if you'd like to see her you may come for 2 minutes one at a time.

We all looked to Ally "I think it would only be fitting for you to go first." I stated.

She nodded and went with the doctor. I looked over at the two girls. "Um you're here for Nally too?" I asked. "Ya, I'm Terry this is Vanessa." said the girl that I guess her name is terry.

"How do you know Nally?" Asked kian. "We were her roommates. We were with Danny." We all gasped when Vanessa said that.

"Stay away from her!" Andrea yelled. "Calm down we aren't bringing her back. We escaped too. The cops are getting him now." Stated Terry.

"Please let's sit." I said. We all went to a round table and talked.

*allys POV*

The doctor led me to the room and I saw Nally with tubes up her nose, and a heart monitor.

I sat down next to her. She tilted her head to me and smiled. "Ally is that you?" A tear fell from her cheek. I smiled and nodded as a tear fell from my cheek.

"Come here and give me a hug." she said lifting her arms. I gave her a hug not wanting to squeeze too hard.

"The doctors put some medicine in me to help heal the scars on my back faster." she smiled. "Do you know when you'll get out?" I asked. "A week or two." she stated.

"We really missed you Nally..." I said "I missed you guys too." we continued talking during the whole two minutes I had which felt like hours.

During the whole time I noticed she never stopped smiling. She hadn't given up...

The nurse came and got me. I gave Nally one last hugged and returned to everyone sitting around a large table with two new girls.

Ryan went back there next.
These girls apparently lived with Nally. hmmm.

*Ryans POV*

I felt my hands shake as I walked near the bed. Nally smiled up at me. I gave her a gentle hug. "How are you doing buddy?" She asked with a big smile.

"I've done better. Seeing my best friend in a hospital isn't exactly the number one thing I would like." she giggled

"I'm glad he didn't break your happiness." I said "You can't break something you can't get." she stated. I nodded. We talked about what the doctors did to heal her.

That she would've taken 100 lashes than never see us again. That really hit me in the heart. The nurse got me before we could finish up.

"I hope you feel better Nally." I smile and gave her a gentle hug.

I walked back feeling changed. Andrea went back there next.

*andreas POV*

I smiled when I saw her iconic toothy smile.

"Look at you." She laughed "You're looking good." she smiled. "thanks... how are you feeling?" I asked "I'm amazing." I was taken back by what she said.

"But--" before I could say anything she stopped me "I'm alive and getting better, I'm getting to see my best friends today and I'm happy to see another day. How I'm doing? I'm doing amazing." she smiled.

My astonishment grew. The nurse later came in. I came back and simply listened to my thoughts.

*Kians POV*

It was my turn. It was my turn to be the caring friend. Damn... I can't believe I was such a jerk. I stepped to the door way.

"Hey." I began. She smiled as I sat down. "How you feeling?" I asked. "Ive had better days." she laughed. "ow." she mumbled and held her side.

"What's wrong?" I asked getting a bit jumpy. "Nothing, is just I'm a little sore." she kept smiling. I just couldn't do it...

"Well it's about time for me to go. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" I gave her a hug and left.

I felt awful and sat down without talking. It was
Jc's turn.

*Jc's POV*

I stood up, my hands shaking, my legs wobbly, my heart pounding. I saw her in that bed with tubes, and machines attached to her.

"Hey." she said softly "Hey." I smiled.
