Chapter 18: crazy Exs and beach songs

"Wake up!" Yelled Ryan throwing a pillow at my face. "what the--" I fell off the couch. "ow..." I said rubbing my head.

"Haha" Ally said stretching. I furrowed my brow and threw a pillow at her. "Hey!" She yelled. I couldn't help but laugh. Eventually she began laughing, which made Ryan laugh.

Then there was a knock at the door. "I got it!" Ally said running to the door. "ally?" Said a familiar voice.

Ryan and I rushed to the door. It was kian and Jc. Kian had a huge smile on his face so did Jc.

They hugged her. "Ryan!" Kian yelled giving him a bro hug. I smiled seeing everyone getting along.

Ryan, Ally and Jc began talking and kian pulled me aside to my room. "we need to talk." kian said "what about?" I asked.

He stared at me with a smile an out a hand on my cheek. The familiar ridges and curves of his hand, the warm touch, the feel itself brought back memories.

"I miss you Nally." he said. I felt like I was punched in the stomach, "kian..." I began to pull away. "Baby, don't." he said grabbing my wrists.

"Don't call me baby!" I said. He just looked at me. "Why all of a sudden you wanna be nice to me? Back at the house you were a rude fuck! And now you wanna get back together?" I had tears brimming my eyes.

"Please you know I had to! Andrea was there and I--" I pulled my wrists away from his grip. "No! Kian you kissed me when Andrea was there, you didn't give a fuck if she was there or not! You kissed me the other night! What is it kian what do you want from me?" I said.

Kian shook his "Nally... I'm still in love with you!" He grabbed my waist, I wanted to pull away from him but it felt just like when we were together.

So maybe I still miss him... "Please just give me a chance..." he whispered. "what about Andrea?" I said "she doesn't need to know." He smirked. He leaned in about to kiss me and I pulled away about to open my door.

"Remember when you said back at the house 'good luck trying to get me to come back to you...'" Kian nodded. "Looks like the tables turned, because you're chasing someone who doesn't wanna be chased." I left the room slamming the door.

It was silent. The door opened and kian came out and tears were running down my face. "Nally please!" He grabbed my shoulders.

"Kian get it through your thick skull! I ain't goin' back to you! You either choose me or lose me! You got Andrea leave me the fuck alone!" I hadn't realized Ally, Ryan and Jc were watching.

Kian just stared at me. "Look just tell me one thing, when we kissed back at the house... Did you even think about Andrea?" Kian's eyes shifted to the ground.

I smirked as tears trailed down my face. "that's what I thought." I turned and ignored everyone else and grabbed my purse.

"I need some air." I said putting on my shoes and left. I heard the door open behind me. I turned around and saw Kian.

I froze as I saw Ally run infront of him and pushed him back. Ryan grabbed his legs and Jc pulled him up.

Ally and Ryan kept him in the apartment an Jc held the door shut from the outside.

I heard pounding. Once it quieted down I sat on the stairs and Jc came up behind me and sat next to me. "Hey you okay?" I merely nodded.

It was silent. I started laughing. "Nally?" Jc said. "are you okay?" He asked. "Ya I'm good I'm perfect! It's just ridiculous how he would act like that." I shook my head and made my way down the stairs, I heard Jc's footsteps behind me.

I started walking on the sidewalk. Once he caught up I said "the thing is I don't think he was worried about me, I think he was worried I was gonna tell Andrea." I smiled as a tear fell down my cheek.

"Why would you think that?" He asked "cause I learned to read body language, he was worried and Andrea, you could see it in his eyes." I laughed.

"Anyways, let's just forget about that, what do you wanna do today?" I asked "Huh?" He laughed "well we can't go back to the apartment for a while, and if you go back to the house with me instead of kian Andrea is gonna be questioning everything. So we got like 6 hours until kian calms down." I said.

"You really know your stuff huh?" He said grabbing my hand. I felt my cheeks turn red. I heard music. "Whoa!" I went into a daze and pulled Jc down the street.

I ran to the beach and through the sand. I stopped half way as my daze finally ended. "Where are we going?" He asked "it's a beach concert." I said pointing to the crowd of people dancing a large stage.

"Let's Go!" Jc picked me and spun me around "okay wait let race." I said jumping down. "Ready set go!" I yelled we took off.

I got indulged in the crowd. They were playing "Gasoline by Troye Sivan" I looked around for Jc as the song came to an end. I saw Jc and I jumped on him

"I was looking for you!" I said kissing his neck. He grabbed me into his arms and took me to the center. "Any requests?" Said the announcer.

"Oh!" I ran up to the stage and he leaned down. I whispered the song and he told the artists.

They began playing "easy Love by r5" I ran back to Jc and he laughed and twirled me around. He pulled me close to his chest and I smiled "nice song." he said "Why thank you" I said

This day might be a good day after all.
