Skylar adjusted her cap and glasses, psyching herself up for what was about to occur; she hadn't been a vampire for long and was already tasked with fighting some of the henchmen that protected the woman they believed had captured Derek.

"Nervous Sky?" Lydia asked the freshmen who wiped her clammy hands onto her jean shorts.

"Not nervous just hot, very hot, I must be the fifth Jonas Brother because I'm burning up." She panicked whilst fanning herself in agony.

"Vampire 101: you guys are irritable in sunlight, it's one of the many things that burn you," Stiles told her matter-of-factly.

"Thanks smartass, why do you think I'm wearing this bracelet?" She muttered whilst adjusting her daylight bracelet

Stiles took a look around the small town they were in, making sure to take in all of the bystanders, "This doesn't seem so bad." He sighed, the banshee beside him disagreeing with his statement.

"It's not the town, it's the plan."

"What's wrong with the plan?" The oldest Stilinski replied with an offended look.

"It sucks," Skylar informed

"This could be the stupidest plan we've ever come up with." Lydia faced the teenage boy, "You're aware of that, right?"

"I'm aware it's not our best."

Skylar scoffed at her brother, "Not our best? This is by far one of the stupidest plans you've made, I mean-"

"-Why did we bring you!?" He interrupted, "You are a walking stick of pessimism."

"Sorry, that's just me adjusting with the fact I am now undead!" She retorted, whisper-yelling the last part so that the townsfolk don't get out their pitchforks and firesticks.

The strawberry blond looked at the two Stilinski's beside her shaking her head at them, "We are going to die."

In Skylar's opinion, Derek was always getting captured or was somewhat close to his death, at this point she was hoping the pack would just accept that so she wasn't being dragged on random ass missions.

"Are you saying that as a Banshee or are you also being pessimistic?" By now the three of them were walking closer to the final destination, soon Lydia and Stiles would be with the hunters whilst Skylar would assist Kira, Scott and the newest addition to the pack, Malia, in taking out Araya's protection.
