Brianna stood by her car, watching as Hayden disappeared into her house. The shot girl gave a quick wave before shutting the door behind her. The night had finally wound down. Brett had promised to drop Mason off, and Liam and Skylar had caught a ride with Scott and Kira. Brianna had stayed behind with Hayden, completely unaware of the supernatural chaos that had unfolded earlier in the evening.
When Hayden clocked out at 1:30 AM, Brianna kept her promise, driving her home safely. Now, with the quiet streets stretching out before her, she faced a long, 30-minute drive back to her own place. She sighed, her body tired but her mind still buzzing; Hayden had even said yes to a date with Brianna, nothing could bring her mood down.
Sliding into the driver's seat of Connor's car, she pressed the ignition button. The engine roared to life, sending a comforting hum through the vehicle, but before she could shift into gear, a sudden vibration from her pocket made her pause. With a sigh, she hit the button again, silencing the engine.
Curiosity piqued, Brianna reached into the pocket of her cargo skirt, fishing out her phone. The screen glowed in the dim light, Stiles' name flashing across it. What could he possibly want at 2 AM?
